I want to try my hand at a bottom feeder. Just a few ?'s

Do the fat daddy vapes 510's have a hole in the middle so liquid can run through? Are all 510's able to do this or do I need a special one?

And I am not sure where to find those "nipples" to connect the tubing to the 510. What are those called? I use "nipples" for lack of a better term.

I think I will wire a switch into it because I'm not quite ready to figure out a fully mech version. How do I pick a switch? Ratings? and such. I'm a noob.

I plan on using an 18650.

Thanks for your guidance!

I'm also prepping to build a bottom fed box mod with a sx350 chip. The feed tube setup is by far the most daunting part of the build for me. I have decided to go with this connector from Fatdaddy vapes. It will require modding, but it will be a sturdy connection when finished. What I'm most concerned about is drilling out a screw to use in place of the center pin. I've been looking at those Russian 91% adjustable center pins If that would fit it is already hollow.

I wouldn't have thought the Fatdaddy V3 would be any good for bottom feeders. You mean the spring loaded ones right ?
Not saying you couldn't mod one to work but it would take a bit of work to do so.

I haven't done one yet but the video shows a guy taking one apart . It looks like it would be easy to leave out the adjustable center and spring assembly. Then replace it with a hollow bolt to use as a feed tube.

That looks like what was used here. This will be my first build so I'm borrowing as much as possible from other mod builders. pSelm67.jpg

I was also thinking of just getting the sub ohm upgrade kit from Reos Mods and using that. Its $25. It would come with those needed nipples and then get the 510 from Fatdaddy vapes. Wondering if I can get all those parts for cheaper though and so its more custom and not just a reo ripoff

That is one way to go. But, $25,00 for $3.00 worth of hardware is a little steep.

One option is to use a regular 510 connector like this 510 Battery Connector, Gold, Large Hole They are brass so the threading tends to strip out after awhile. You could solder a small diameter brass tube inside the hole and attach some plastic tube to the brass tube. If you do that, make sure you use lead-free solder and lead free brass or you will slowly poison yourself. This link might give you some info. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modding-forum/95728-tutorial-juicebox-around-8-a.html

I just ordered a set. I'll let you know how they work, as soon as they arrive.
