Looking to buy an e-cigarette, help!

I have been trying to quit smoking for a while and determined that I am mode addicted to the action of smoking than the nicotine. So, an e-cigarette sounds like the perfect option to me.

There are so many options i'm lost and wanted to get an opinion from those who know alot about them.

I'd prefer something shorter than a pen-style, it can be longer than a regular cigarette, but the pen-style ones are too long for me. Also, I'd like something where I can use my own choice of ejuice rather than pre-filled cartridges. I'll be using a zero nicotine ejuice if that changes anything.

I'm a bit confused on how you use the ejuice too, i've read in some posts that you just drop it on, and in others that you need a needle/syringe to do it. Does that depend on the model?

Lastly, i'd prefer something that produces a decent amount of vapor that is similar to smoke...rather than just a mist you can barely see. And, most importantly...i'm on a tight budget so the cheaper the better.

Thanks guys, i'm going on vacation soon and i'd like to take my new e-cig with me...so I really appreciate any input.

A dependable ecig, smaller than a penstyle, would be a 901. They have been around for a while and are pretty well known. There are a lot of new models out that have problems...but the 901s are at least dependable.

Here is a 901 kit that would have everything you need to start. Comes in black or white:

The Smokeless Shop - The Ultimate DSE901 Black or White*Starter Kit

Some people refill with a syringe....others just fill with drops. Your choice. There are some videos around that show the different methods.

Good luck!

Edit: scrap this one. It says: Black and White Kits out of stock

Sorry!

Most people THINK they would hate the mini cause it is "too long" and not like a cigarette. Although it takes a little getting used too.. the convenience of not having to re-fill as often as with a super mini (peewee) is much desired and that is why it is the most preferred device. For size.. I like the M401 (Pilot/Evo), but the 901 is easiest to learn and figure out. Good luck :) Watch some video reviews of devices....

Our very first e-cigs arrived last Thursday, and so far I am really pleased. The 901s are attractive, nice to vape, easy to deal with, etc. They're pretty - lots of oohing and aahing from the girls at the pub - but not so pretty that my husband looks less than manly. ;) I'm not sure I like the mouthpiece, but I just saw where you can substitute another brand of cartridge that is round. I'm already smoking a lot fewer analogs, and I haven't even really started trying!

I ordered two 901 kits (blue LED for me, orange for my husband) plus an extra atomizer from James at The Smoke Safe. He still has some in stock. (I just tried to link, but the forum won't let me cuz I'm a newbie. Hopefully you can cut and paste this: OK, so I can't do that, either. Anyway, it's TheSmokeSafe dot com. I believe it's listed as a 'mini cigarette'.

I have to say, so far James has been an absolute rock star -- I ordered on Tuesday morning, and they were in our mailbox Thursday evening, and we got free shipping, too! Also, two of the batteries (the blue ones, unfortunately) seem to be from a bad batch. I left him a message about it yesterday morning and he sent me an email about it yesterday afternoon. Given the level of service we've received so far, I'm not anticipating any problems.

Thanks everyone, that was an easy decision...i'm going for the DSE-901.

However, none of the kits I would like are in-stock as of now...so I am going to wait a bit.

I had a few questions though...

1) Are the e-cigs that Smoke Liberation carries, such as the black models with colored LED's and white model with an orange LED, DSE-901's? If they are, will they work with all DSE-901 parts? And, if not, which are they?

2) I have seen the DSE-901 with both black and orange cartridges, can they be interchanged? This white one PureSmoker sells comes with orange tips, but can it be used with the black tips too?

3) Regardless of current stock, what is the cheapest website in the US to purchase the DSE-901?

Thanks so much, this forum is soooo helpful.

Justin, I purchased my first kit from the smokeless shop....but as Lu said I think Katy is out of stock right now. this is the best priced kit that contains everything you will need to get started. Pure Smoker is priced well also! True-vapor also sells a very nice 901 kit! Good Luck! The Wiz!
