Hi all,

I've been looking into the GLV vaporizers for some time now. But, due to the price, I want to make sure I order the right one for me. I have been vaping for over a year now, having quit analogs last Thanksgiving, after smoking for 15 years. I started with the Blu, which I don't have to say, SUCKED! Luckily I didn't give up on vaping after that experience, and after doing some research, ended up buying the Joye Ego. The Ego has been awesome, and I have been using the Mega Ego attys and tips for the last year. I love the Ego, and the Mega attys and tips give me a ton of vapor. But I am ready to try another vaporizer out, as I don't want to be missing out on something better.

My questions about the GLV line of vaporizers are:

Which GLV product is most comparable to the Ego with Mega atty and tips?

Will one of GLV's products provide comparable vapor production and battery times? And if so, which one would be best for me?

Which type of attys do the GLV products use? Is there a product that works with the Joye Mega attys? If not, will the regular 510 attys provide the same amount of vapor as the Mega attys?

Any info anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated. I am excited in moving up to a GLV product as I love the selection, looks, and lifetime warranty! I just want to make sure I choose the right one for me, so I am not disappointed with the product!

Thanks for taking the time to read this!

It sounds to me like you will be fine with a 3.7 unit so you can go with the Mini or Super Mini. They both provide the same voltage and battery time. They use the same batteries and both have 510 connections.I believe you can use them with your mega attys though you may need an adapter. You can get adapters at Good Prophets.I think you would need a 510-510.Maybe someone else can post and let us know.Id hate to be wrong. You will love the GLV.Its a wonderful PV and its built like a tank. What color are you going to get?

Thanks for the info Keyzygirl!

When I use my Ego with the regular 510 attys (not the mega) I don't tend to get enough vapor for my liking. When I was looking at the GLV products I noticed they use the regular size atty as well. But I also believe they are a higher voltage atty than regular 510 atty. Is this correct? Do you use the regular atty with your GLV? If not, which atty do you feel is the best to use on their products? Do you tend to get a lot of vapor production with your GLV? Which tips do you use?

I think I like the Candy Orange color as it is almost identical to the color of my wheelchair! (I like to color-coordinate!!)

Thanks again for your time and info!

If you are looking for a bit more power I would suggest the 5v GLV. With the extra power you can use different ohm attys and find the one that works best. You should be able to get more vapor production out of the 5v without having to use a LR atty.

Either way your going to love your GLV. If you do decide on the 3.7 I would suggest a LR 1.5 - 2.0 OHM atty. With the 5v I would suggest a 2.0 - 3.0 OHM atty. Every juice/person has different preferences you'll just have to find your "sweet spot".

I have a 5v and a Super mini,I prefer the 5v and you can use any atty or carto on the 5v because it self regulates to 5v.I just prefer stronger, warmer vapor. Its up to you.If your happy with 3.7 than go for the SM if you want more warmer vapor then go for the 5v.It is stronger though,so you will have to adjust and get used to it.
