Not that simple. The flavoring counts towards the total content so if you want to vape 12mg and add 20% flavor you've diluted your Nicotine by 2.4mg thus the finished mix is 9.6mg. You need to compensate the base nicotine by 2.4mg thus it needs to be 14.4mg when figuring in 20% of flavoring added. Now 20% is just a random total flavor example that I picked and flavor percentages vari from flavor to flavor and mix to mix

Here's some light reading for ya

Read my blogs before getting started

E-Cigarette Forum - dannyv45 - Blogs

then read hoosier's blogs.

then read the stickies at the top of the page.

this will explain a lot of the how's and why's.
i'm perfectly fine with it being less than 12% after flavor is added. i was just curious if that's all i basically needed, aside from bottles and such as i'd like to do this as cheaply as possible. and i'll check out those blogs as well because knowledge is power!

Is precut nic juice different than unflavored e juice? I have unflavored e juice. Csn you point me in the direction of what you mean with a link? Please?
start with single flavor juices until you get the hang of it. most flavoring you can start at 10%. you can buy nic juice precut to 12 to 24% that's safe to handle. use the e juice me up calculator as prev. mentioned. you'll be fine

If lower NIC is not an issue it can be as easy as flavor and shake. Just start at the lowest recommended percentage and work up.

They are different. Precut nic juice is diluted, unflavored nicotine liquid. I would not want to mess with pure nicotine liquid. What is sold as unflavored nic juice has already been diluted in varying percentages of PG/VG. Unflavored e juice could be any combination of PG/VG and at varying mg/ml levels. Basically, just add flavor. However, as you dilute the solution with flavors it will affect the mg/ml of nicotine.

This is what I use, and I find that it fits my purposes well. Depending on the ratio of VG:pG you want will dictate what percentage VG/PG you would buy.

Hope this helps.

THANK YOU Chili Three Way!!! Thsnk you thank you!!! If I get 24 mg, and im adding flavor to that it should be good. Then ill end up with a lil lower nic level but not too much, right? I am not interested in having pure Nic at home. I appreciate the link- that is the same thing I already have just from a different vendor. I have shopped MFS for other products though!!! :) they usually offer sales on diy stuff @ MFS so next sale ill get some of their stuff :)
