Looking to make a box mod with built in charger.

I want to to build a small box mod with a built in mini USB plug for charging, maybe as a passthrough. Any ideas? I have made many box mods, but have no ideas about a charging cricut.

The easiest way to go about it is to use something that already has a USB charging circuit. Any of those USB battery packs work well. Alternately, you can get a cheap USB charger like this one and incorporate it into your mod somehow. You'd need to swap the male connector for a mini female connector, but besides that, it should work as-is.

New on the market From TI Would work Great on a one battery unit with and adjustable boost regulator like this. Or perhaps one with just this -- Add a 12v plug while your at it

Use the circuit board inside a passthrough, it would be perfect for a single cell mod.

Can you do anything with the insides of a PCC, I have a few torn apart but not sure how to do it.

Using the circuit from a stock e-cig charger will take forever to charge a mod battery. Likely 10-12 hours.

Here's a complete usb charging circuit that looks to be perfect for mods.
