Looking to start diy

so looking at buying nic my target is 80vg 20pg at 6gm shod I get the nic mixed in pg and at what mg nic level shod I get for a target of 6mg

If you're shooting for 80VG then I'd recommend getting the nic in VG base. It's thicker and harder to draw into a syringe but if you have a high total % of flavoring (which is PG based for the most part) then it would likely throw off your percentages and might make it difficult to actually reach an 80% VG. As far as what nic level to get, it's totally up to you. Many beginners start with 48 or 72 mg/ml nic since it's a little safer to work with than 100 mg/ml nic. In the long run, the 100 usually ends up being a little cheaper since you use less of it.

I got my first butch in VG, but it is really thick to work comfortably. So, my next butch was PG.

I got my 1st batch 50/50 36mg. It came with the starter kit. My next order was 100%VG since I like 80%VG+ mixes too. I got 60mg last time because I mix 3mg strength and the math is easy. I will likely get 100 mg next time though since I am making larger batches now and the math will be just as simple.

I like 50/50 100mg/ml. Versatile and not so thick its hard to work with. One liter will last forever and a day due to the concentration.
