Looking to start dripping

Hello friends, I need some advice. I'm looking to get an rda so that I can start dripping but I don't know where to start. My mods are low wattage 50, 65 mech, and 75. I would like to know what to get that would be easy to build on, and also what type and guage of coils to get. I will probably get prebuilt coils to start off with, so what brand, or a good place to shop online would help too. So any help would be appreciated, cuz I think my heads about to explode trying to figure this out!!!

Question 1. How do yoy like to vape.

MTL (Mouth To Lung), or DL (Direct Lung)

Question 2. Are you a cloud chaser or flavor chaser

Question 3. Do you want bottom/side airflow or top airflow.

Bottom and side airflow will leak like a sieve if you over drip. Top airflow will not leak unless you lay it on the side.

After we kmow what you want we can make recommendations.

I like direct lung hits, flavor chaser,and top air flow I guess because I'm already tired of leaky tanks

Then look at the Vector, Sapor, or Rogue. There are many other RDAs that will work for you.

I am partial to the Rogue myself because it is shorter (18 mm tall not counting the 510 and drip tip.)and has flavor almost as good as the freakshow Mini.

If you can afford it grab the Darang. Unfortunately the authentic Darang is $80+ but it has the best flavor of any Atty.

You can get a Darang clone for $20 or less and the flavor is still better than the Rogue or freakshow Mini.

Either Stainless Steel or Kanthal coils.

SS coils can be used in either power mode or TC mode, and said to give the truest flavor.

A LOT of people want very low resistance builds like .3 and lower.

Just remember lower resistance coils get hotter than higher resistance coils.

Some low resistance coils actually scorches your Juice. Higher resistance will use less power too.

Try different resistances until you find your sweet spot.

Myself and tge Juice i use tge .4, and .5 coiks ruin the flavor. For me my sweet spot is .8-.9 ohms. For you and your Juice it may be higher or lower. Just try different resistances until you get a satisfying vape.

Hi, The Wotofo Sapor and the Vulcun Vector are real good choices. Both of them have top air flow and don't tend to leak. I build the both with 25ga. Kanthal 5 wraps and Supima cotton wick. They run at 0.3 ohms at 35 watts. Great flavor and very comfortable MTL hit.

Never heard of The Durang. Going to look up now.
For a 1st dripper, I'd suggest the Magma. Single coil, side airflow, flavor oriented, & a screw on top cap. No Leaks..

The first run of Sapors had issues where the insulator melted. Apparently tge first run had delrin insulator instead of Peak.

If your insulator starts to melt get a Peak insulator and all will be well.

Vector is a good choice.

The Darang can use 26 gauge wire with no problem.

The smaller the gauge the thicker the wire.

My Friend with the authentic Darang used 26 and 28 gauge wire on it with no problems.

The Magma is a good first dripper but in this case its the wrong answer.

The OP likes Lung hits and wants to avoid leaks.

In this case would recommend Rogue, vsctor, Sapor, or Darang.

If memory serves the Darang has one extra bennefit. Can rock a single coil if a person prefers single coils.

I have never used 22ga. wire but I would lean towards the Sapor it has huge holes for wire. You can buy a Authentic Sapor on Fasttech for $13.61. I have a few of them from them. Before you buy from Fasttech make sure it is IN STOCK and Pay the $1.00 for USPS shipping it will take about two weeks to get.

I was also wondering what the pros/cons of the allen screws Vs regular screws are. I think the Vector has allens, but in a review I watched he said they hadn't backed out on him yet

Lol, that's true I guess. I just don't like the gold or copper gear. I wonder why they only made that style.

I don't know how or why the Darang was designed.

I will say that it gives the best flavor of every single RDA i ever used.

In my opinion it beats all of these for flavor.
