Tell us what you like about cigs: warm vapor, smoke rising, smell, the feel of the tobbaco in your throat? etc....

Then tell us your NEEDS. Must it have smoke(vapor), should it be the same size and or shape as a cigarette(better ones come larger/different shapes). Do you want a system that is found all at one place, or are you ok with getting some equipment here, some there and having no obligation to go to different sites to get what you want(proprietary brands are generally more expensive, all around brands allow you to shop price and still get good stuff).
You also have to decide if you want traditional flavor tobaccos or if you are ok with trying new ones.

You will find that most vapors use a fatbat style if they start small. You might want to start there in your search. eGo, Riva, Tornado....A "510" is by far the most popular and universal type of e-cig. Its easier and cheaper to find parts and equipment for.

What STRENGTH cigs do you smoke? Full strength? Lights? Ultralights?
How much access do you have to electricity - can you charge batteries at work?

100mah is about 1 hour of moderate vaping

The smallest ecigs I will recommend are the most popular slim minis (9.2mm diameter). I recommend manual batteries which make it easier to get a good hit and are harder to damage or kill with juice leaks.

Joye 510 manual 180mah, comes as a 3-pieces, plenty of blank cartomizers around to use it as 2-piece

Joye 510 xl manual (I don't like the mega xl atty and carts though) 280mah and 128mmlong with a carto

KR808D-1 manual (most popular 2-piece, also see Vapor4Life and SmokelessImage) lots of prefilled cartomizers, use another model's atomizer for testing juices - 280mah for the standard size batteries

But if you want long battery life or hotter hits with a unit that can use the hotter LR (low resistance) atomizers and cartomizers, then you skip slim ecigs and look at fat battery models Joye Ego and Riva 510 and other big battery units and mods - 650mah to 1300mah for the largest batteries

Prefilled is only a small convenience and not even that if you don't like the flavor. You will be adding eliquid to everything.

Oh boy, this has got to be the most common question on the forum and you are about to get responses from A to Z. Generally though you need to decide what is most important to you and that is hard to do without trying a few different models. The ones most commonly recommended for new users are the 510, the 901 and the Riva or Ego types. All are good in their own way. I have all three and a big battery mod (which I am using right now). If I were to choose just one for you to start with it would probably be a 510 from libertyflights or mypvshop. Low cost, great vapor (very short battery life though- get spare batteries!) and it will set you on the road to deciding if this is right for you before you spend a ton of money.
