But also the iStck Pico is a nice compact MOD with a Baby Beast Tank that you can expand your vaping experience with 2 fold and still use the Nautilus Mini on. Removable battery or USB charging so best sort of both worlds.
I've had 2 Picos. Seemed like the perfect balance between long battery life, changeable battery and USB charging, Small and compact as well.

But on both units, the little USB sleeve inside the device came out when I detached them from the cord rendering them both useless for onboard charging. I wouldn't hang the Pico's had it been just one device - but both?

Since I got my Pico and being a single cell I use the USB Port to charge no problems with it.
Perhaps I just got a bad "run". Even so, I'm still an Eleaf supporter. I've got a bushel of 20, 30 and 40's. Also some 10's. Those tiny things mounted with a 2ml tank will let you vape just about anywhere.

But sadly... my vape buying days are over for awhile; Mrs. Kodiak has made that abundantly clear. (And one doesn't piss off Mrs. Kodiak).

USB cables are so inexpensive and I use one from the first MOD I ever bought for all of my MOD's. The U in USB stands for Universal............ To damage a USB cable or connector you have to be abusing it in my opinion.

I used to vape in passthrough mode if I was sat in front of my computer - which was most of the day, probably more than most people would do it. And it does break leads and sockets - I've had other conversations here on ECF with people who've had the same problems.

How did you handle the charging? Did you vape while you charged or did you have multiple isticks to rotate?

Any recommendations where to buy authentic products? Not looking for any cheap battery clones or knockoffs.

I love my iSticks! I've put them aside for mods with replaceable batteries, but I still use them every now and then. I did vape them while charging, but, I didn't like being tethered to an outlet so I bought several of them to rotate.

You can buy authentic iStick 40s, 50s & 60s at VapeShop.com for a good price. See the link below.

PVs Mods & Kits - APV Style - VapeShop

You might want to consider buying an iStick Pico or another mod with a replaceable battery, so that when the battery will no longer charge, all you have to do is put a new battery in it and be done. The FDA wants to wipe out the vape industry and if they get their way, you may not be able to continue buying mods at all. That another reason to consider a battery with a replaceable battery.

I hope you find something you love!

Being in the IT Industry I only see USB connectors or cables break from abuse/misuse and not regular usage. Just my personal observation of working with USB since it was implemented was back in Windows 95 SE.

True, but mostly when you plug something into the USB it just sits there and the lead doesn't get any stress, but using an ecig in passthrough means I'm constantly picking it up and putting it down and stretching it to my mouth. The fairly cheap leads that come as standard with ecigs don't seem to like that.

If it is just a USB Cable you are talking about a component you can buy at a 99 Cent Store to be honest. My first TC40W was used in Pass thru all the time at home and in the car or while working and never had a problem with it. This included it flying off the console because I had to stab the brakes or went airborne over the train tracks! Still to this day using the same cable and no damage to the port.

Now here is a cable I would think is going to stand up well it is reinforced with gold plated connectors.

I recently had to replace a printer because the person ripped the USB connector of the Main Board because they did not disconnect it when attempting to move it and it is heavy. Now that is different than using something in pass thru but I have forgotten mine was plugged in and I can imagine how easy it is to yank it out.

@ribbery guy - If you haven't already ordered from somewhere else:

RockyMountainVapor.com still has their 30% off coupon code active, and free S/H for $14+ purchases. Coupon code is: Turkey. They currently have Eleaf iStick 30W in stock for $35 - 30% = $24.50, the Eleaf iStick 40W TC Kit for the same price, as well as the Eleaf iStick Pico 75W for only $30 - discount = $21! They're a great company with authentic products, wonderful customer service, and fast shipping. I've bought many things from them, and they're always exactly as they should be!

Eleaf/ISmoka Parts : Rocky Mountain Vapor, The Mountain top of Electronic Cigarettes

They also have the Aspire Nautilus Mini in stock, as well as the BVC coils for it. Can get them there, too, with the 30% off!

@Foggy Road did you win it directly from eLeaf the one back in December that they took forever to coordinate?
Yup. It's been here at the house for a couple weeks. I just got home Monday evening. That little tank that came with it won't work for me but the Pico w/3000mah HG2 is perfect.

Sure is one thirsty little bugger that is for sure! eLeaf had serious communication issues on that giveaway I only received mine recently. All the BS with signing the release form and the PP from HK had me wondering WTH??
Oh wow. You get the white or black?
