Looking to upgrade the right way

I've decided on the ego twist. But I'm having a very hard time figuring out what to put on it. I want to do a skinny tank. But I don't know if the tanks come with a heating element. I'm not sure if tanks require cartomizers, or atomizers, or clearomizers. I just have no idea what to buy. This is what I need help on guys. There is a setup in this video THE EGO TWIST IS A GAME CHANGER - YouTube At about 6:00 into the video he has a setup with a smoketech skinny tank. I'd like to build a setup just like this one. I'm really lost as to what I need. I don't understand how these things work, what is compatible with what, etc...

I tried asking these questions in the joyetech ego subforum, and so far nobody has even viewed it. If somebody could explain to me in plain english what I need, and where to buy it, I'd really appreciate it. I'm completely lost and frustrated.

Lots of opinions here. I've been using an Ego twist with Kanger T3s and for me, I see no need to buy anything else. Great throat hit with tons of vaper. Good luck.

Jeez, doesn't that depend on which tank you get? There are a few different iterations for all the different products. Find an online shopthat was smart enough in advance to sort all this out for you. It should be obvious what you need for each different tank product based on the description and the page layout. Easier for you to look at than for us to explain.

what he had there at the 6min mark is a cartomizer inside of whats looks like a 3ml tank,which slides down over a carto with a hole in it

there are other tank style option too,,personally i prefer the kanger T2 and T3,,the T3 more so .heres a link to some kanger ,,avoid the E2 style tanks ,,they look cool but just dont work worth a dam

The T-3 is a clearo-tank, they come with everything you need to start. The other things are carto-tanks, you have to buy cartos to put in them- wide variety is available.

If you're going the Twist route (which I think is a great starting point for getting into VV), then get a Kanger T3 (2 or 3 really) and a couple of extra heads for it. You'll be happy you did. BTW, don't forget the charger for the Twist and get at least 2 of the Twists. Even if you move on to a bigger APV the Twists make a great back up.

Ok, I'm finally getting some clarity on the topic. So if I understand it right, I should get the eGo twist 1000mah battery (obviously), a kanger T3 bottom coil eGo clearomizer with an extra head, and a charger, and I should be set right?

I am also interested in dripping mainly for the purpose of sampling new juices. What kind of equipment would I need to put on the eGo twist battery to accomplish this?

yep ,,you'd be all set up with the T3 and a few extra heads,,for dripping ?? you can use a regular 510 atty ,,or get something like a phoenix or phoenix clone

Ok, thanks denali. If I purchase a 510 atty, do I need a drip tip and a drip shield as well? Bear with me here. I'm all new to this. I want to purchase every piece I need to drip into this thing

here is a link to the older type attys which used a cartridge [pita !]just drip a drops onto the att and put a drip tip on and you get about 5 pulls off it at a time,,but spendy Electronic Cigarette - Atomizers LR - Joye 510 - LR

this one is a rebuildable silica wick type and holds about 15 drops ,much more economic and cheaper !!its what i use for tasting new juice

you will need a drip tip with either one of them but not not necessarily a drip shield for the first posted atty

Ok, thanks guys. I placed an order earlier tonight. Hopefully I ordered the right stuff. I ordered the T3 Clearomizer with an extra head, a joyetech 510 atty, and some drip tips. I hope I didn't forget anything.
