I have been using a Joytech eVic VT for about 6 months with a Zephyrus and a TFV4. As I am looking at getting a couple RDA's with bigger build decks to play with some different coils I feel I may need to upgrade to ensure I have enough power. The eVic has served me well but even with the TFV4 I feel some of the coils and builds need a bit more than the eVic can produce.

I am probably after 100-150w but if at all possible I would prefer built in batteries. I do a fair bit of flying with only carry on luggage and carrying spare batteries is frowned upon here by most the airlines so built in would be a great bit easier.

One thing that has really annoyed me about the eVic is the high pitched noise it emits and the ticking so I would prefer a mod that is super quiet.

Any suggestions at all that won't break the bank?

If no suggestions of a mod with built in batteries any suggestions on a mod that once again won't break the bank.

Thanks

Some of the popular DNA200 mods seem to suite your needs as most all of them (minus the reuleaux and boxer from what I can remember) has built in lipo. Lavabox, Vaporshark, etc. However most of them cost upwards of $150+

mods with built in lipo seem to always cost more than their 18650 counterpart (you're paying for the lipo and mod I guess). If you want a mod thats extremely cheap that can handle 200W then RX200 is hands down the best bang for your buck. Its so cheap that alot of members have more than 1

Thank you both for your replies. I had looked at mods with the DNA200 chip set but they are all rather pricey. Besides the health be idiots one of the big reasons I traded analogues for vaping was saving money. My misses just sees me spending money atm lol.

Might have to have a good look at the RX200. That way I will have plenty of power moving forward as RTA's continue to improve and evolve.

For the RX200 owners out there how do you find the size of the mod? Can you carry it in your pocket or is it too large? I read that the batteries are recomended to be changered out of the mod however usb charging is an option, what is the mod like to charge this way?

If I do head that way any recommendations for batteries and a charger that can charge 3 batteries at a time.

Thanks again

the RX200 isn't large for a 3 battery device. Its the weight that prevents me from carrying it outside. Its almost the same size of my 1 x 18650 snow wolf mini (similar height, width, different depth) but about double the weight.

I have HE2s and HG2s (LG) in both of my RX200, prefer the HG2s. As for charger, I have the nitecore D4 and the xtar VC 4. Prefer Xtar since the bays are independent (1 & 4, 2 & 3), meaning it charges your batteries faster than the D4.

The rx200 is very comfortable to hold, though it's quite heavy. I can have it in my jacket pocket but not in my trouser pockets. And personally I prefer the rx200 over the Reuleaux DNA 200 (I have both).

Fully possible to charge the batteries in the mod but it's a lot faster and probably safer in an external charger. I have an Xtar vc4, just remember to get a minimum 2 amp usb wall adapter. Many recommend the Xtar vp4.
