I've been reading as much as possible before posting. I've made a few coils with 34awg Kanthal A-1. Built a new coil this morning with 32awg, fired up quick and even with steady 1.8ohms (mechanical mod 3.7v) 3/4 wrap, vaped great. Now it's hitting weird. Lots of vapor, looks like it's still heating evenly (vapor from all over the wick), when I inhale it's overpowering and very little vapor on the exhale.
I'm clueless what it could be. Only possible thing I can think of is some wicking issue, but I'm not experienced enough to know if it's too much or not enough juice reaching the coil.
Thoughts? Thank you!!

I never paid attention to the vent hole, I will now though.

Yep, 1.8 this morning (6am) and 1.8 at noon (EST).

It tasted and hit great earlier. I've read that as a coil settles in the resistance or even heating can change. What's the best way to test even burn without pulling out the coil and going dry? When I ran it this afternoon, I burned till the coils started glowing. The upper coil glowed first, but I figured its just because its furthest from the juice. It took a good 10 second burn to get glowing.

Did you check is it still 1.8ohms now? I've experienced that with my aga, sometimes the ohms drop and gives a funny taste.

That means your connections are loose somewhere. A given length of coil should retain the same resistance (within 0.1ohms). If it's varying, tighten everything up and that issue will disappear.
