I got me one ordered yesterday, shipped today,so hopefully saturday i'll get to play with it haha.I planned to get one a while back, but went for the Kanger 160 since it was cheaper, and regrtted that decision as soon as i hit the checkout button,so finally had to make the jump and grab this too.

As far as the bottles, has anyone tried threading a regular 10 or 15ml bottle on it to see if it's the same threading? If a standard 15ml bottle will work, that would be great as you can get them dirt cheap and have plenty of spares.
A regular 10ml Plastic juice bottle fits.It doesn't thread on,it slides in as is pushed up by the door. You just have to take the tip with the hose off and pop it on to another bottle. The ones it comes with are super soft, but I had a couple that were stiffer, but still soft enough to squonk with and it works just fine.

Cool, thanks. It's good to hear standard bottles will work. That's my main complaint about the Kanger sqounkers is that mod specific bottle.I can get the standard bottles very cheap,so easy to stock up on spares.

Got my Wraith today, and i gotta say,i really like it so far.Just like everyone else has said, the stock bottle is very soft,so i just used a regular 10ml bottle, and it's perfect. The screen settings will take a little getting used to,but no big deal.I didn't think i would like the stock rda, because of the wide drip tip,but decided to give it a try,and to my surprise,it is a nice rda.
Now,after using this for about an hour,i want to buy a white one too haha.

The first bit of coating has started to flake off of mine. A spot on top halfway between the fire button and the 510 connector. It has not been gouged or rough handled in any way.
Well that really sucks to hear that. It's a nice looking mod, but if the finish is gonna flake that quickly, it sounds like something to pass on.

On another note, I heard that Aspire is planning on releasing a squonk mod soon. I was watching a review for their new Quad-Flex, a 4 in 1 tank system, and the reviewer said Aspire had one in the works.

Yes it really doesn't have the quality it should. Council of Vapor products seem to have gone down hill, they might have changed to a different Chinese manufacturer.

I don't know how well an Aspire squonk product will fare, but who knows. WeeLeaf needs to put a Pico board in that Squeeze they have coming out.

Havent tested yet, but I've been told these fit, and I have em in a cart.

So Update after a week -
I switched the build on it, I am now running a 2mm single coil at 1ohm at 25 watts and the flavor is awesome.

Battery life is okay. Using a Sony VTC4 I am getting about 8 hours out of it, which ends up being about 3/5 of the bottle.

My paint is not peeling at all right now, still looks good.

I got to say thanks to @rangerrobin for posting the bottle size. Now I'm off to search fasttech for one that will work as a replacement. If anyone finds them before I do, please post a link :vapor:

Wow was it a corrosive type cleaner? Or what flavor juice as some have citric acids etc....
No matter what it sucks, but that is the first good pic I've seen of this issue. I see where it was mentioned if you remove the finish it might look decent. Would you say that's almost gunmetal?

Nothing corrosive or even a nasty juice. There was tiny spot of peeling on the edge previously and I wiped off a little juice that got dripped there after I wet a new build. I gave it a quick wipe with the paper towel and the whole section peeled away.

The gunmetal looking finish underneath is very shiny, and I assume it is just a plating on the zinc(?) body giving the rubber a base to adhere to. I also think it will scratch quite easily.

I am checking with the retailer now to get an exchange unit.

Wonder if it was stripped and you clear coated the gunmetal how it would do? Similar to what I have done on copper mods with a patina.
Could be worth a shot if you can't get it replaced. Just thinking out loud.
I have had to stop myself from ordering one several times now.
If you wouldn't mind keeping us up to date on replacement etc.. for the future.

I will do that, hopefully it will be just an easy cross mail exchange of the unit itself. The retailer said he has never seen them peel before...

I hope it is just a bad batch but somehow I doubt it. If the replacement starts to peel then I will look into stripping it for sure. I don't have any rattle can skills so I will have to take it somewhere to get clear coated.

I'm wondering if maybe they have changed the paint they use.Your's looks like a flat finish, and mine is sort of a semi gloss/satin type finish.Did you get your's right after they came out?
I picked it up a couple of weeks ago when they arrived here in Canada. It is possible that there might have been a problem with the paint and changed it on a new run. Mine definitely has the flat black rubberized coating you find on many things.

The retailer I picked this up from has no more in stock and is not planing to get more. I was given the option of returning it for store credit or keeping it with a $25 discount on my next order.

I'd loose the original shipping cost and the return shipping if I send it back. So I'll just keep it, get a wrap for it and apply the $25 credit to an OBS Crius Plus.

Quite disappointing... also CoV is pretty much unreachable, and I'd probably have to send the unit back to China for exchange. :glare:

Sorry that happened to you. I think I will put mine away and save it for a backup after seeing what juice and a paper towel did to yours.

Thanks!
Mine could have had a greasy spot there when the coating was applied that day. Until there are more examples of peeling like mine, use your Wraith and enjoy it.
