A whole day of smoking is impressive. Too bad you munched the cartridge up. I'm not criticising, I know you did the best you could. It just made it hard to see the parts and their proper relation to each other.

That bit of filler, for example looked pretty small, and I couldn't see if it was charred around the edges, or just ragged.

And, like Naz said, I wonder if there's a membrane that might be punctured with a syringe. The cartridge longevity is longer than I would have thought, but it's still too short. There's no reason an atomizer shouldn't last at least a week, or a carton's worth of smoking. Even a disposable one like that. Well, no reason so long as that filler didn't burn.

I think his atomizer would have lasted quite a bit longer if he could have refilled the cartridge somehow- looked like it was still going strong when he cut it up, but the cart was probabluy getting a bit dry- the one hting i noticed wasthat it looked liek he could only take a hsort drag before light began blinking, but even still, it was producign very nice vapor still even with short drag- but not sure I'd liek such a hsort drag if indeed that was the case

If you fill it up, that kind of defeats the purpose of disposability (sp?) ... Then you are paying a huge premium $1.75 per cart + HUGE shipping charges. I wish smoke51 was nice and didn't mark up the pricing even more.

Yes, you get an atomizer each time, but if you can't fill it up, is it worth a new atomizer everytime? You have to toss once done.

pros and cons to everything i guess these days ....

sigh ...

I doubt the nic was still going strong- When i first got my SmartFixx penstyle, I coutned the puffs off oen cart & got over 400, but hte nic was completely gone, but was still getting good vapor

Cash- I don't htink it would defeat the purpose any- it woudl just prolong the time before discarding and help extend the itme between repurchasing more carts, thus savign money even further

At least they're trying to innovate. I don't see any reason these things have to all be cigarette shaped at all. I'd like some stealth smokers. GIve me a penstyle that really looks like a pen. Or a laser pointer. I liked those custom jobs someone posted built into a mouse and a rubber ducky. I really want a mouse one. Seriously. I'll pay money. Good money if it's wireless. :thumb:

how many of those 22 hours were you constantly smoking the long totem, how many drags does a cart last on average, and how long do you drag for on average?

if we dont have specific information,we're just making assumptions here.

i just cannot understand how it is possible that what is essentially a mini cig capacity cartridge is capable of lasting for this amount of time, constantly smoked, with no dip in performance, taking decent drags each time, and delivering a steady dose of nicotine.

its a bit of a loaves and fishes situation.

this could be a new model long totem, and i know each of these devices combi carts can vary in the way they perform, but that seems above and beyond...
even the newly developed and quite similar, but apparently more advanced G300 reportedly wasnt giving even a fraction of that kind of performance in its test models, and they have approx the same amount of liquid in their carts.
could you fill us in with specifics,do you think?
i know its a hassle, but it would be great to know.

its very interesting, but i wont be buying one just yet.
i need a more local supplier.and its still too expensive compared to my current routine, which produces just as much vapour, and anything i want is shipped in a day free.

and thanks for the video mate, very good of you.
im looking forward to your update.:)

It's coming pal. Ever seen those hats with cans of soda on the side? And I know Dr Jim was making a motor-cycle helmet model...

Well, here's one thing I DON'T want: To suck on the thing for 5 or 6 seconds at a time! I want it very much like a cigarette -- easy, fast draw. Deep inhalations=lung cancer in my book. If this makes decent vapor in 2 seconds - no more -, it's got my dollars. This drawing on and on and on until your face turns inside out .. arrgh.

That is really cool. I was wondering when they would move away from the cigarette shaped form factor. I'd rather puff on a small box like that and have 3x the battery power. Has anyone seen this video? It reminds me of this.

Holy cow! I've heard of that KnutselPeter dude but I can'r remember the forum he runs / posts on. I'd like a closer look at that smoke box, though...

It doesn't look like it would be too hard to make. I think he "overclocked" his atomizer though by giving it a higher voltage. Not sure though.
