So I can see that the Lord and Kiss is high on the shmexy scale but how about its performance? Any brass users out there that could chime in and share some thoughts? I stictly use brass/copper mods for the power it delivers and have not used a ss one in quite some time. However, this device is beautiful and I just need someone to say, "It hits like a freight train" and then my moneys gone. I really love how this mod is going kind of under the radar as there aren't a ton of videos up discussing it and kind of has an exclusive feel to it. Though not sure how long that will last as Gus seems ready to take over ....., but anyhow, its also for that same reason I feel a bit uneasy as to whether I should buy it or not. On paper it actually does not have the right combination of parts for it to be considered a hard hitting beast for example, it has brass contacts, which I believe is the least conductive followed by copper than silver. Also the body is ss which also is the lowest out of the three. Plus you got a fuse, chunky thing you add to the pin to stop the battery rattle, and lastly additional threads because its telescopic. Not sure how all these components add up in determining performance but I read about and it seems pretty accurate. Anyway a couple of videos on youtube of someone ripping clouds would put that to rest but like I said, very few videos available at the moment.

So I've been doing some research and it turns out the top cap and switch are 20 x 1 mm's which supposedly is compatible with other mods. I guess if I have any problems with its performance I can look to replace the tube and/or pins that are 20x1. However, I want to have a smooth transition if that happens to be the case and not be ordering wrong tubes, pins and be stuck with them. I actually got an email from gus regarding this question and he said I can use every pin including caravela and chi you. Im not sure he literally means every pin though or is that correct? Chi you pins are kind of big and the carvela is much smaller or is this where the 20 x 1 mm comes into play? Im a little confused on how it all works with the threading and interchanging of pins. If anyone has input I would really appreciate it.

I am not going to make a definite yes it hits like a school bus would. I have a Poldiac Aname all brass core, they seem much and the same between the two. I did some cleaning on mine and got a .19 vdrop on the Lord. I do not do low subohm, I stick .6 to .8 for RDAs and find it gives me great flavor. Dspin and Qorax have both done some good pictures and posts on what pins fit in the Lord cap. I just stuck a 12amp fuse in it and do not worry too much.

I am more interested in flavor with pleasant vapor texture. I could care less about a cloud or throat hit as long as it is not tearing my throat out. It is a very nice mod, it has not left my side since I received it.

You could email Gus and ask if the pin from the G16 he has on his site fits the Lord.

Edit: PMed you the link to the other review thread so as to not offend by mixing review threads. :)

I know for sure that the Nemesis pin will fit in the top cap. I can't speak to others. 20 x 1 refers to the way the top and bottom caps screw onto the tube. It has nothing to do with the pins. Paps and Ghosmodder tubes should fit the top and bottom caps. I'm not sure what other mods are 20 x 1 threaded. I use the 8 amp fuse in mine (I'm not a sub ohm vaper) and I haven't had any issues with it. The 8 amp will work down to .55 ohms. The 12 amp will obviously go lower.

As far as how it hits.... For me it works as well as my Nemesis. I can't tell any difference in the way it delivers power to the atomizer at all.

Hope this helps.

ripping clouds and hard hitting are a couple of phrases that really irk me. In six years I have had a lot of mods to help me from smoking. Want to start a rain shower then the mod voltage drop IMO is not the problem. The only time I have been able to tell a voltage drop is when I have a dirty mod and put it back together after a good, thorough bath. I love my gus lord and the last issue with it I can think of is a voltage drop. I asked for mine to be shipped with a 12 amp fuse just in case but rarely go below 1 ohm.
copper is a great metal for anyone fearful of a voltage issue but it has many other issues.
The lord may not be the best for the rippers but it is a very nice piece to own.
