I want to ban stupid people. All stupid people!
Can't do it. You'd lose the benchmark from which non-stupidity is assessed. Personally, I'm more in favor of banning all traffic control devices. I could sit at home for a couple of weeks until the mess is cleared away and then get somewhere quicker.

They've darned sure led to obesity in her case....she's been on a diet for 5 months and is still 25-lbs over what she was at her debut. On that level I can sympathize with her. I had to drop 64-lbs going on three years ago to get type II diabetes under control. I understand her pain but she can kiss old crusty where attitude is concerned.

if i could id take a gun and shoot her for being so stupid theirs no excuse for her to not have facts on this when shes a talk show host she made a face at nicotine chemical substance yet nicotine has no negative side effects the fda say ecigs are harmful yet they allow these crappy stop smoking pills that have a shizz ton of side effects plus theirs no chemicals hardly in a ecig where does she get a big pile of chemicals from my ecig contains less than 1/20 the amount of chemicals that my food does but yet its okay for the general population of america to eat processed foods nicotine flavoring pg and water is not a big pile of chemicals in my book i cant stand this woman at all
Unfortunately, you will never be able to silence or control the ignorant people or their opinions in our culture. The media will always provide a forum for them as long as people are watching or listening. If anyone relies on R Ray for informed content then they are just reaffirming my first sentence. She had a cooking show. What makes her opinion on anything other than food valid? I would be much more inclined to consider the opinion of.....oh, say....Doctors??? on a tv show when it comes to something like an ecig. I agree...she went from an idiotic non smoker/uninformed reaction to supporting the harm reduction idea, overall not a horrible message.

I agree, the overall message wasn't horrible. Could have been more well-informed and although he mentions the politics, he really doesn't get down to the real issues such as conflicts of interest involved with the FDA and pharma. As far as I know, the tobacco industry hasn't really gotten involved with the ecig debate (unless it's behind the scenes) so although he is correct that it's a political issue, he's got the involved parties a bit confused. Since she kept bringing up the patch, he could have given some info about the carcinogens found being similar to what's in the patch, and the poor success rate of the patch as well. Still, some free advertising for electronic cigarettes isn't all bad.
TV caters to idiots. That's it's job. Look at what is popular. American Idol, NCIS, Dancing with the Stars. People don't watch these things because it educates them or makes them think. They watch all this stuff because they don't want to think.
I don't even know who this Rachel Ray person is. Never head of her, and I can't imagine why her opinion should matter to me. Certainly having a TV show doesn't mean she (or her opinions) should automatically be granted some kind of respect. Jerry Springer had a popular TV show, but he's an idiot, and his guests were idiots, and his viewers were idiots.
i have no sound on this computer, but i keep trying to watch the video anyways. wtf is up with all the gigglefitting and facial expressions? even if the message in the end is overall ok, does there need to be such a condescending attitude?
I understand what you have against Rachel Ray, but what do you have against punctuation?
