Hi, Terry......if you do this to your toes, it will make your abc's exercise a happy time! :D And help you learn to count Firegirl's good nights. Although you might need more toes for that.

Good idea but they are facing the wrong direction. I wouldn't be able to see them. You're right though, I need to be able to count higher than 5 for Campi.

Did you see the gorgeous pic of Tom Selleck she left me? Whoot! :hubba:

Aloha Sun, Tink, Pepper, Glam, Jade & Terry! :wub:s & :)

Good morning beachmates :D I am HOME again!! :toast: We got in yesterday afternoon and by 9:00pm DH and I had both crashed on the couch... (our bodies thought it was 3am). Then woke up this morning at 3:30am and have been up goofing around since
I need to go find Campi's thread so I can finally post in it. I am 'fashionably late'
See you cats later....

Mmm hmmm....:D Welcome home, bebe.

Back atcha, Glam. ;)

Hundred Acre Wood
I got a look at the numbers from the fundraiser that is going on (today is the last day) this afternoon. This on is the first for the holidays coming up and pretty much gives us an idea of how hard we got to work to meet our goal. Normally it does great but not this year. I think between the recession and the government shutdown people are cutting back. I don't blame them but not-so-good from our stand point. :(

Earworm for the missing one. I wonder how Raven is doing. :)

Not so good. She's having to have 80 trees cut down on her property due to bug infestation, all near her house. They have killed a lot of trees and they have to come down plus she is clearing some land for her son to build a house so she is devastated and has been very quiet. She went camping on her property but could still hear the chainsaws and trees falling so she's kind of out of sorts right now to put it mildly. She says her property looks like a war zone. :(

Every little bit helps. :)

That will cost a good penny. I've had to cut down some dead trees too. It's still better than leaving them there for fire and storm hazard. Nature will rebound. It always finds a way, whether we worry about it or not. And nature works on a timescale we don't always comprehend. In a couple years, there will be new seedlings. She will get to watch new life ascend.

She will have her son nearby. Is that not good news? :)

Her neighbor is cutting the trees for her so I'm sure it's not costing as much as a professional tree cutter and she will be able to sell some of the trees to a lumber company so I think she is financially ok. Yes, there is some good to be gained but she is focused on the loss right now. I'm sure she will see this in time.

She is lucky to have that neighbor. My neighbor charged me $120 to use his chainsaw, so he can "sharpen" it afterwards! I could have bought one, but paid him instead to maintain neighborly love.

I trust her BF is recovering? More good news! They should consider that episode as a warning for him to take care of himself. I received a smaller such warning 10 years ago, which is why I stopped working.

I'm off to lunch. :)

Yes, her BF is doing fine. Last I heard he was back to work for 4 hrs a day.
