Ahhh, Orleans. If I could tell you some stories. lol The jazz festival in April and mardi gras. I haven't been back since Katrina and doubt I'll go back, but I've had my times there. One cannot explain what it is like to be there during mardi gras.... it's incredible. Actually, I have photos... it's amazing what cheap plastic beads can do. lol

I lived there for 25 years, so I can tell those stories, too. I left there in '93. I've been back, but it's rather depressing. If you stay in the French Quarter and Central Business District, like the Super Dome and Big Hotels, you'll never know that anything ever happened there. The French Quarter survived amazingly well. But if you get away from that area, and not by much, you can see the devastation all over. There are Houses I lived in that I cannot find. No on I knew still lives there. My Son and Daughter are in the Covington area.

If my smarts came from there, does that not diminish my efforts at learning? The plan gets mysterious again as to why some are willing to learn while others do not. Well, I will thank YOU when I ask you what I should do with my money....right now it is in annuities, and stocks (75%) and bonds (25%)....but of course if the stock market tanks.....so do I.

I couldn't like that post for the "cat food" part. The SS was never meant to cover full retirement expenses. I do not include SS in my projections, just in case.

not a worry, I have some who think its a handout some who know its what they put in, and too many who take what is not theirs.
My hard question is why before Romney care did the us tax payers pay more for universal health care per person(cap) than Canada when we did not have it?

Its painful to here that it cost 124,000 to house a inmate for a year in nyc, when the public knows throwning a bum in an 8 by 8 a sandwich cost 10,000
