Wow! What a great night at the Irish Pub. Met some friends I hadn't seen in over a year. I could have stayed longer, but tomorrow night is going to be a humdinger... so I had to save myself. I was almost ready to enter a Dear Diary moment... but I'll save myself the embarrassment; purely an act of valor on my part.

Dusk, is just an illusion, because the sun is either above the horizon or below it. And that means that day and night are linked in a way that few things are; there cannot be one without the other, yet they cannot exist at the same time. How would it feel, I remember wondering to be always together, yet forever apart?

I really like the sound of this band and would have liked to see them go somewhere with their music...

How's everybody doin' this mornin'?

I've been snatching sleep and El Bambino is still alive and kickin'! Yesterday when I got home I made its food in a bottle and got it to suck -- wonderful!!! Takes a load off me since it eats quickly and easily!

Met with finanacial advisor with one of our retirement plans this week... all accounts averaged an annual return of 17.28% interest this year so I am pleased with that. Those bad years when I was socking the bucks into it while the market was down really helped. So, maybe I won't have to eat cat food in retirement.

I have to feed the new baby every 2 - 2 1/2 hours for at least two weeks to make sure it intakes enough calories to survive and grow. He's a little squiggly boy - DSH brown tabby.

That music reminds me of being at a club called the Vault in Washington, D.C. in the 80's ... the atmosphere and type of music that was played was similar but varied also (hope that made sense because I'm still not awake). The Vault was an old bank building and some of the rooms were actual bank vaults... thus, the name Vault.

Have the granddaughter this morning.....her 4th birthday is next week. She is so excited...she told me she is going to get more than a hundred presents....LOL. Hope she has no clue know how many that really is, or she is going to be very disappointed.

I'm heading out to play in the dirt while the weather is still good, to get rid of all the potted plants. It's a shame since most of it is still blooming but I know what's coming...

I do my laundry in a laundromat and there is a food market there too, I put my clothes in the machine and go to the market to buy what i am going to cook i also buy a pound of chicken wings from the deli , put my clothes to dry and eat my chickens wing while I wait
