Last year I saw a certain someone ("B") from a certain vendor (V4L) doing the limbo in the ballroom late Saturday night with a bunch of others.

jj - I know you would enjoy it. Iowa Gal is just like she seems online - except she is younger than what she lets on; at least seems so. She's a tiny little thing. She comes with a friend who is also nice.

I've met lots of new people, too. It's just sort of like that: most everyone is there just to kick back and everyone is very friendly. Promise you'll go next year. I'll help with logistics.

Uh - you should see my first ring. I'll be scrapping that and reusing the metal and the stone. It was just crappy. It's a learning experience.

However, I just finished a cool pendant which needs a polish and then I'll mount the stone. I reworked it once since I did a poor job of soldering the bale on. In fact, I reworked the bale about four times before i was happy with it!

So - talent, not so much. Experience counts for a lot here...and I'm just beginning!

I hope Bale wasn't set too high, and you get out soon.

Thanks, My Sweet. It was good to see you. I really think I'd enjoy your kind of craftwork. I've been soldering most of my life... since 18 yo. That was Electronics, but it's still soldering, and it has gotten to be very precision work now, with miniaturization.

Just got home and finished doing my nightly chores. (making coffee, scooping cat boxes, nightgown and vitamins.)

I am full of pizza and beef roll......I don't feel so good. But I feel better than OB will.....when I catch him. I almost feel sorry for him.

Lisa....if you come back, please tell Iowa Gal I said hello.....we were friends when I was posting on V4L...she is a sweetie.
