Thank you so much VG ... that will be an awesome avi for me since i love to sit on the beach ... although it's always tourists that bring furniture onto the beach ... we just sit our butts down on the sand ... so much softer and more comfy.

I'll see if I can find a redhead, sitting on the beach, on her .... on the sand, near the water. If I find something nice, I'll make another avatar.

I lived in Southern Cali from '74 to '76. It was a different place back then. I lived in Oxnard, 80 miles north of L.A., on the beach. My place was maybe a block or two from the beach. But it was an oyster shell beach, so it was hard for me to enjoy it. I like a sandy beach. I worked on NAS Point Mugu in the Navy, and there was a nice, but small, stretch of beach there. But Southern Cali has changed so much since then. Sorry this drought has changed even the fire hazard times for you.

Oh, yeah I bet you lived near Channel Island Drive. My DD and I used to frequent the Pt Mugu area ... we were looking for a BF for her. It hasn't really changed that much ... still looks pretty much the same to me.

Channel Island Drive sounds very familiar, but I don't remember the name of the street I lived on. Wow, that was many moons ago.

Yes, Absolutely ... our news reported on the heroic efforts of the firefighters on saving many homes and animals this time around. They are just awesome, and, PTL, I didn't hear of any injuries among them this year ... so far.

I think if I were a firefighter in FL, I would be too scared of those awful snakes to fight fire. Eek, I've read they're all over the place now.

Yes, Absolutely ... our news reported on the heroic efforts of the firefighters on saving many homes and animals this time around. They are just awesome, and, PTL, I didn't hear of any injuries among them this year ... so far.

I think if I were a firefighter in FL, I would be too scared of those awful snakes to fight fire. Eek, I've read they're all over the place now.

I'm with you! I don't know much of anything about snakes... which are poisonous or not, so to me, they are ALL poisonous, and need to stay the heck away from ME!

I guess I dont know pepper ... i've noticed him coming on mostly as fly-bys, but i've never seen him chat much. Spring/summer is really a hard time for me to post ... maybe he's out enjoying the spring days with good booze and wild women.

I almost got the worst spanking in my life when went to kill a black snake by the chicken house by my grandpa who I dearly loved and admired and was a gentel man. He said the kill rat leave them alone
