There's nothing wrong with that. I spend a bit of time making mine just right, getting the coils spaced just the way I want them. Unless it's a microcoil, it's important that none of them are touching each other, and I like to have them as evenly spaced as I can get them, for better heat distribution.

Well, don't I feel silly for going on about rebuilding coils and heads. But I do spend a little time with them. I'm hoping that Jessica, my V.A. audiologist, can get me fixed up on the 27th.

Are you making converts of the whole neighborhood? I hope you are getting your money back. No markup is fine, as long as it isn't costing you too much to help others.

I could read Coffee on the middle one. What are the other two?

The big one (32 oz) is Hazelnut Coffee. My DW and two neighbors love it! I am not a coffee fan.
The other two are Blu-Bacco and Razzleberry. They are my two favorites from vendors. The DW tried both a few weeks ago and didn't like them. She tried them again last weekend and now she likes them. They have improved with aging!

I charge the neighbors what it cost me with shipping. Now I am rebuilding their coils too! They will eventually have to share the cost of equipment if this keeps up.

I think that's great of you. Maybe even better for them if they could learn how to do their own. If they have the eyesight and manual dexterity (and the patience and the will to do it), rebuilding can be fun. They could learn by watching you, and get some guidance, and then move that experience into whatever they choose... RBAs, RDAs, etc.

Thanks! The mother is in her 80's and the daughter has some motion control issues due to an accident. I don't mind doing it for them. They finally learned how to fill their Pro Tank Mini's, I think, at least they stopped coming over every day for me to do it!

I rebuild ARO Heads for Glam. She bought the 2.5mm Silica and some Round Kanthal, and had them shipped to me. We would have had plenty or everything to last for a long time. But now, she has found ARO Heads wrapped with Ribbon Kanthal. She likes them much better and they last a lot longer for her (2 weeks instead of 2 days!).

I have some 0.5 x 0.1 Ribbon Kanthal, so I rebuilt a Davide Head to see how I liked it. This Head is the exact same as a ProTank Head, and the same as the ARO Head except for the tank-seal white o-ring. My Ribbon build was a 4/3 wrap on two strands of 2.5mm Silica, and it came in at 1.7Ω to 1.8Ω. Right at the ARO Head factory builds of 1.7Ω. When she sends me some used ones, I'll see if they are using 0.5 x 0.1, 0.4 x 0.1, or even 0.3 x 0.1. I'll probably rebuild some with 0.5 x 0.1 for her to try. If she doesn't like them as much as factory builds, we can get whatever Smok Tech is using in theirs, but I'll stick with Kanthal over NiChrome.

Hey Beachmates . Got all the furniture cleaned and put back in my porch. I love the floor when it has a fresh coat of sealant on it!! So shiny and clean. I just wish the porch stayed this clean... because it is heaven sitting out here!
When I smoked, I lived on this porch when weather allowed. I didn't smoke in the house

Yep . In a couple of days it will be covered in dog fur again But I am enjoying it tonight!
