Hey jj, I have a new way of wearing my hair during the summer ... yep, it's already back down to the bra strap again ... seems like just a few mos. ago that I got it cut.

Anyway, I bet Tink would look cute in this, and so easy and stylish enuff for the workplace. Very fast to do and can do it on the fly.

When DD had long hair, she wore it something like that.

VG it was nice just being active again!

I think I've seen a video of that before, but not with that girl.

I was schnookered into it again. I noticed we were close earlier today, but forgot about it. I was so excited that some people finally showed up and were posting, I forgot all about it. You're so sneaky, My Boo. :D

Sinus infection ... yuck. If it's chronic, maybe you could go to amazon.com and search for these words: "Patrick McKeown" ... "Buteyko Breathing Exercises," and "Artour Rakhimov, PhD."

Meanwhile, if you want relief, sleep on your left side and keep ur mouth shut:laugh: when you breathe.

The Buteyko method will, a majority of the time, fix asthma, sinus probs, sleep apnea, insomnia, allergies and snoring. It used to be taught only in Ireland and the UK, but now it's international.

Also, you can go to uTube and search for Buteyko+Patrick McKeown to see how it's done.

The classes used to be 400 lbs (around $900 U.S.) in the UK, but now a person can get the whole DVD, CD and manual for ... seems like it's around $30 (on amazon and Patrick's website).

Why is it always the left side they recommend you to sleep on. :?:

And thank you. I rarely get them anymore but this was brought on by allergies. Since Spring is over this should be the last of it. Fall doesn't seem to bother me like Spring does. :?:

But I have no control over keeping my mouth shut while I'm asleep.

In fact I think I will head into lurk mode. I'm tired!

Night Sea, VG, and all beach peeps. :)

Sleeping on the left side in the healers' genre is to keep centered and to keep the heart chakra balanced.
In the medical realm, it's to keep from getting acid reflux, heartburn, and back pain.
There are other reasons, but those are the main ones most talk about on the science/medical forums.

Jan, just to left you know that there is not a panacea for seasonal allergies ... just the way it is in this polluted world for now.

I have to shimmy on now, the sun has set, Sabbath is complete, and now I must clean my dreadfully untidy kitchen.

xoxo,
C~

p.s. ... I'm going to come back later and leave a link for Lurch WRT John Sarno, M.D. WRT back pain.

I wish I could do that, but I can't. I lay on my back, as told by a chiro years ago for 4th and 5th lumbar, for as long as I can stand it, and then switch sides all night. I can't stay on one side for too long, either. :(

Well, VG, if you have chronic back pain, you might want to watch this short vid too. Dr Sarno's program is for ANY chronic illness or pain. His book is on amazon. There are a LOT of uTube vids on his program. It is also very effective on fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome.

I will look again for that cinnamon article ... might be at one of my client's homes.

Okay, here is one of the several video's available link (15 min. long) - ABC 20/20 episode. Dr. Sarno (MD) is the doctor David Stern (MD) claims saved his life. If anyone is further interested, a lot of info can be found by searching on uTube and Amazon ... plus many testimonials. Howard Stern's vid is interesting but is kinda lewd in one part and judgmental in another wrt lifestyle choices (i'll let you read b/t the lines).:unsure:

ETA: Forgot to tell you VG that that Dr Sarno has a 90% success rate even by just reading his book and applying the principles of his program. You can see many of the testimonials on Amazon and other websites.
