Don't know why I thought about something like two Little Debbie's thingies, and wondered why you'd bake them.
What kind of cleanup would that take?, I wondered. Guess I'm as tired as you are.

Good night, Beachers.....lots of sales, but none that sold innokin Cool Fire 1....but I did find it on sale for $39.99. LOL...it does pay to shop. Found prices as high as $79.99.

Have not ordered yet....did find one poster complaining that it goes through single coils really quick (of course that is what I use)....so I am going to read some more reviews.....and I found it for $29.99 if I order that is where I will get it. Still undecided...might go ahead and do the Cool Fire II. The reviews on it are pretty good.

You probably won't see this until tomorrow, but I really don't know why 8.5 Watts would go through single coils. That's pretty much what you were at with 3.7 Volts on the ePower (8.053 Watts). But then again, you were going through regular coils on the ARO pretty fast until you found the 1.7Ω Ribbon coils. Even still, it's only 8.5 Watts on the Cool Fire 1. That really isn't very high.
I don't remember what Ohms I made those other coils, but for a fixed Voltage (in your case, 3.7V), as the Ohms go Down, the Power (in Watts) goes Up. This was the first way of varying the Power... with different Ohms.
3.7V with 2.5Ω = 5.476 Watts (Cooler)
3.7V with 2.4Ω = 5.704 Watts
3.7V with 2.3Ω = 5.952 Watts
3.7V with 2.2Ω = 6.223 Watts
3.7V with 2.1Ω = 6.519 Watts
3.7V with 2.0Ω = 6.845 Watts
3.7V with 1.9Ω = 7.025 Watts
3.7V with 1.8Ω = 7.605 Watts
3.7V with 1.7Ω = 8.053 Watts <-- Ribbon ARO on the ePower
3.7V with 1.6Ω = 8.556 Watts
3.7V with 1.5Ω = 9.127 Watts (Hotter)
So pick the Ohms you had been using in the ARO before the Ribbon Heads (or anything else for that matter), and you'll know about what Wattage you were vaping at on the ePower (at 3.7V). I think those other factory ARO Heads (and the ones you saw complained about with the Cool Fire 1) weren't lasting long because of the coil wire they use. Ribbon is much better! So you can't really go by what others are saying, unless you know what they are using and complaining about burning out quickly (both their coils and their battery devices).
The Cool Fire 1 at 8.5 Watts will do the exact same as the Cool Fire 2 when it is set at 8.5 Watts. 8.5 Watts is 8.5 Watts. But with the Cool Fire 2, you'll have some range to play with, to cool it down or heat it up a little, as desired. The Cool Fire 2 will go down to 7.0W, then (skipping 7.5W) goes up to 8.0, 8.5, 9.0, and thought it's range.
I hope this chart makes sense.
It is related to something you already know, being the ePower at 3.7V and any coil Ohms you've used on it.

Well, just spent the last hour reading reviews....ordered the Cool Fire 1 and the extension....for $33. I found them at a place called Desert Vapes (not High Desert Vapes). Good supplier reviews here on ECF and a registered supplier. Their prices are awesome.
Thanks for the info, VG.....and no other reviewers said anything about the Cool Fire not vaping well with single coil. A lot of reviewers said they vaped well with all their tanks.
90% positive reviews...most vapers love these.

I was supposed to still have been on vacation last night. Our PAL (=vacation) during the summer when we take a week off is supposed to be Mon-Sun. But the asst manager made a mistake when we put in our requests for our week off (this was several months ago) and had me scheduled for last night. I pointed it out to her at that time and she said "oh, yeah, I made a mistake and will fix it". So… I didn't go back and look because I assumed she corrected her mistake. I was snoozing on the couch last night when I got a call at 7pm…. asking me where I was
So, out of the goodness of my heart I went in. Sigh. It's hard to find good help any more.
And… assuming I was off last night (and working Mon, Tue nights) signed up to work extra Wednesday night. Now I will be doing four 12s in a row

Off to see my sister today....and will give her hugs from VG, and all of you. I always give her lots of hugs, and I still cry every time I leave her. So sad to see such a vibrant person in this state. I miss her so much. Hopefully a massage therapist will help her.
Out to dinner tonight....will check in when I can.
