Hello, Beach Babes and Buddies.

The show last night was great! The band started and 7:10 and played for two hours. The singer was very good and got the audience involved a lot. He even brought some of them up on the stage. The band was quite good and played a nice variety of music. The bass player had the tiniest guitar I'd ever seen, and he was a big man - looked a lot like Danny Glover. Toward the end, the singer brought up some kids to sing Pharrell Williams' Happy.

The Fireworks started at 9:13 and went on until 9:39. After that, I stopped by a Block Party downtown that had another band and some free food. It was one block from where I parked. I noticed them setting up when I got there and chatted a bit, but went on up to get my seat.

A big (belated) congrats to you, Lis—way to go!

I did go back to sleep this morning and slept until 11:30! More chicken salad made and that is it for me today! Getting ready to grab a book and head out to the pool.

Sorry for the late reply. I was making a better Events list than what Sea sent me... at least better to my liking. I put it in an Excel Spreadsheet so I can sort the data by any column I want to. That makes it easier to find Vet Anniversaries and Birthdays.

Tonight's the night. UFC (mixed martial arts) ppv. You can view it free at Buffalo Wild Wings and Hooters, but ya do have to pay for the wings and beer. The main card will have 2 championship fights. Chris Weidman v. Lyoto Machida; and Rhonda "Rowdy" Rousey v. Alexis Davis. Here's a picture of my girl, Rhonda. Absolutely beautiful and vicious at the same time.
