Oh, and I think we have been infested with bees!!

Standing in one area of the house, you can hear a 'crackling' in the walls/ceiling. Hubs went outside and looked…. there were a bunch of yellow jackets buzzing around where a soffet (sp?) meets the brick.

OMG no!!!!!!!!!

Fumigate !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, no :( Sounds like a good idea!

Is there a charge? I'm not a Prime member; I bet that is required, huh?

Not from what I seen. You sign in (using your amazon email) and select the book you want to borrow. I did this. The down side is I have to wait for the book to be free to be loaned out . That always puzzles me...it's an ebook and I have to wait.:?:

I get the book for 14 days.

You can also check with your library to see if they have a program like that (if you haven't already). I have 'borrowed' a lot of books that way. Same thing as what you are saying… if it is checked out you have to wait til it is available and you get it for 14 days. It is free :)

Booklend looks like the same setup. I've used the library but it doesn't always have the book that I'm looking for.

Yeah, that's pretty strange.

Still, having to wait for an ebook is a pretty strange policy.
