Going to go out now too guys.....I am tired and need to wash the grime away before bed time. Tomorrow is supposed to have a heat index of over 100 degrees here....that is why I wanted to get everything watered tonight....so I do not have to go out. Summer has arrived....but a cold front is coming in tomorrow night, so back to 70s and 80s.

Our well water is cold, delicious, and extremely hard. We have a reverse osmosis filter on a separate line for our drinking water. But the taste is great even from the regular faucets...they had to go 130 feet down to hit the water table so it is pretty pure.

We are fortunate...a lot of homes in this area have a sulphur problem.

Our city like to tell us how clean the water is, but I find it hard to believe. We get our water from the Red River and maybe a well or two. But like most cities, the return water is cleaned and reused. I don't really trust that they can clean it as well as they claim.

And yes blood on the kill floor get's washed down the drain, but everything else goes into barrels and is sold for dogfood Except for hide's ... you know what happens to those You wear them or carry them all the time ​

And now the good news...... I am sitting here eating my first, from my garden, ripe, home grown, full of great taste, and really nutritious......TOMATO!!!!!!!! You forget from year to year how wonderful they are.

Today, I am doing some cleaning....starting with the area around this computer...the EPA has contacted me and given me until the end of the month to get it up to inspection.
