Today is food pantry day so it's get the pool in early, then go help set it up, and then bring GD back with me until it's over. If she is in a good mood, I might sneak in a visit here and there.

I had a good night at work last night - no shootings or stabbings!! Maybe some of our thugs were in Chicago last night to help their brothers-in-crime I'm working again tonight then off for a week - YAY. So, could you Chicago/Illinois peeps keep our thugs for at least one more night??

I don't know how regular this "morning thing" will stay, but it's a good thing. I tend to stay up quite late as I'm a natural night owl (always was), but I passed out early. Nodded off and slept in my chair for a while and went to bed about 12:30.

What do you have planned, after you do your laundry, plus Glam's and JJ's? Guess I should get some laundry done, too.

LOL....Tink. We can keep your thugs....the more of our thugs they kill, the better off we are. And when your thug numbers start rising, we will send you your thugs back, along with those of ours that survived. I love the "share a thug" idea.

Almost done with laundry.....poor babies....did not know they had a support group.

Hey! I'm still here, but In and Out doing laundry and putting the cutouts together for the carport cover. I've had them cut out and I've had about 1/2 of the fronts covered with aluminum duct tape (for something of a reflective finish, though not much, but this is what was wanted). I finished covering the other 1/2 of the fronts and now must put them together in groups of four deep. Getting them installed won't be that bad. This has been the time consuming part. There are two sizes, for every other position under the cover's grooves, and I'll cut a 1x4 board in the same two shapes to make a push installer and I'll cut a sheet of tin to make a platform for them to ride on top of while being inserted, so they don't catch on the back of the gutter and will go smoothly into place. This has turned out to be quite a project, but I was paid very well for it and must get it finished.
