Crazy story. She had to get a replacement hard drive for one she just bought a few months ago. The company sent a replacement, and though it's the same size in Gigabytes, the physical size is too big, and it won't fit inside the laptop.So I called them and they are going to send another replacement, this time the right one. They took extra steps to make sure this one would fit and work. So it will be here in 2-3 days.
Sounds like they are making it right....just a pain if she is waiting for her computer. Does she have another or a temporary?

I think all families have that problem. We were even having problems getting our family together for Christmas/Thanksgiving...due to inlaws, and jobs with weird hours. So now, we don't even try....we just go to the casino.
I don't know what she's using now, but she sure misses this laptop.
I understand. I started using the laptop more than the tower. The latter is still at son's and DH sure misses it!!

When mine shut down....hubs said, "Now maybe I will get to see more than just the back of your head." But he got it down to the shop first thing the next morning....
I think he knew what life would be like for him if I did not have my computer. Be like PMS....only at my age it would be NCS.....(no computer syndrome)

I was all ready to confiscate hubs' laptop, and I do not know a thing about it....but I was gonna learn. I think he was worried that I would blow his up too. That is why he got mine in so fast. He does not even use his, now that he has a tablet.
