Yeah, I let about 90% of calls go to the answering machine. If I don't recognize the number, and caller ID shows nothing pertinent, I don't answer.

We have caller ID too and an answering machine and do the same thing but it still shouldn't happen.

Also, if you have any dealings with a company, the "do not call list" does not apply to them. For example, I have donated to charities and they call all the time. DH gives blood and I was getting calls ALL THE TIME from the American Red Cross. I finally called them and told them to take us off their list.

That's a stipulation of the Rule. There are also Politicians. They can ignore the rules, too.

I'm still working on the parts list for the mod. I'm nearly there, but I found another schematic with some parts that make the circuit safer, like adding reverse battery protection and such, so I have some part numbers to get and sources for them.
