It's about a ship building town building the "last" ship....I don't know the time period. I hope it's not the obnoxious 1980s....

I'm pretty sure it's a true story from Sting's childhood, so it's probably before the 80's. IDK how old he is, but he looks to be getting older himself.

Good night Beachers.....got home at 10:02, decided it was too late to join you all so I just read along for a few minutes.
The fish fry was fun...about 35 people there....hubs and the father of the bride (hubs' best friend) fried 100 pieces of fish...they were all eaten. Very nice spread...lots of good food.
And Tink will be glad to know that The Last Ship is based on the shipbuilding industry in his hometown of Newcastle. Sting was born in 1951, and left Newcastle in 1977 so hopefully no 80's clothing in the play.
Now I am going to back read and see what I missed....Stone happy you came back again tonight. Hope we see you lots.
