It was originally a commercial airliner. When the military started using it, they cut out 6 feet of seating area between the nose and the wings, gutted it, and filled it with electronics.

I was sneaking the family car at 15 (without a learner's permit) and cutting donuts in a nearby field after everyone went to bed.
My Mom knows about it now. My oldest sister ratted me out.
Me too. Probably one of the best you can get and still be in the military.
I was indoors the majority of my time, except the first few months when I got to both duty stations. The first because they were figuring out what to do with me. The second duty station because they still had P2s, and the transition to P3s was not complete, so I worked the line for a while with the other Electricians.
Looks like it's going to be a slow night so I guess I'll head into lurk mode.

Sorry I couldn't post pictures earlier. We went along the Blue Ridge Parkway today and did some sight-seeing with our friends before they headed home. Then came back to the cabin and had one last campfire (for this trip). We've packed up and cleaned up some things
I don't wanna go home!!!
So, here are a couple of shots from our zip line adventure. It was a blast! We did 3 zip lines with a little hiking between each one. It was fun!! If I can figure out how to post a video of it, I will
