Love my Kgo but would a Ego Twist give more throat hit?

Just got my KGO a couple days ago and I'm completely in love but, I'm wondering if the Ego Twist would provide more of a throat hit on lower nic or no nic e-juices?? Right now I vape with 12mg and I do get a pretty decent throat hit but, I'm wondering if I lower my nic or eventually eliminate nic all together if the Ego Twist being higher volts would still give me a throat hit? Hope I'm making sense... Thanks in advance

I have both, and the difference isn't that big a deal, since I rarely dial the Twist up past about 4V with a 2 ohm cartomizer. If you're curious, a 650mah Twist isn't very expensive and will charge on the same charger you are using for your KGO, so give it a try.

Would vodka work instead of PGA? I don't think that we can buy PGA here in Pennsylvania. I know years ago you couldn't but, not sure about now. Will have to look into it.

sad..you can't buy everclear? vodka would probably work, but i haven't tried it personally. you don't want to water down the juice too much...and just a drop or two of everclear does the trick

I know years ago you couldn't buy it here.. my mom would always have to travel to Maryland to get it.. she used it to make Kahlua. Thanks for the tip though. I am vaping like constantly and getting dizzy/nauseous off of only 12mg.

I thought you aren't supposed to charge an ego with a kgo. Something about the mAh and/or polarization.

I pretty much am too. A friend of mine uses the Blu cig (she's actually who got me into wanting to try an electronic cigarette and I was shocked to find this whole vaping world that I fell in love with) but, I can't get her to try anything but using the Blu cig with the Blu cartomizers...boring. To each their own, I guess. Another friend of mine has promised to buy a KGO but, we'll see and my fiancé was a black and mild smoker but, quit some time ago but, he does like my KGO. So for the most part, I'm alone on my vaping journey as of now. So glad to have this forum though Let me know if you come up with anything for us PA vapors.

I have a kgo and a provari and I diy my own juice. The main #1 part of throat hit is the nicotine. The warmth of the vape (wattage) to add will help but will only go so far as throat hit is concerned. Without that nic the wattage you apply doesnt mean anything anymore. It only enhances the available nic. With zero nic your done. There are additives such as vodka, pga, menthol, cinnamon, pepper, etc that add a harsh hit but that is not quite the same in my opinion.

This doesn't work, as has been attested to by numerous vets.

Vaping around 5 volts will enhance throat hit to a degree but is marginal in comparison to the nicotine strength. If you like the TH at say 18 - 24mg and move to a 5 volt vaping level, you may be fine dropping to 12m - 16mg, for example. If you vape 0 nicotine strength eliquid, you will get 0 throat hit regardless of what PV you use, plain and simple.

I still get a decent throat hit at 6mg, and a small one at 4mg (my bedtime/first thing strength). I vape an 8 when I'm having a serious nicfit and it really does the trick. I'm pretty sensitive when it comes to nic overdose, and these numbers work really well for me. Hope this helps

Edit: I should mention my 4mg are 80PG/20VG, any higher in VG at this strength and the little throat hit pretty much dissapears

increased voltage most definitely increases the TH for me on my low nic (6mg Ry4)...in fact I hadnt touched the 6mg stuff in quite a while as they were just too weak/blah for me but then I tried them again on VV cranking up the volts a good bit. Definitely better. Now its a decent setup for those late night but dont want a nic rush times.

It will do nothing for TH on zero nic though.

And with the VV you'd be amazed at the changes diff voltages can make for flavor too. I had some juices I didnt like at 3.7 and was going to get rid of that were total keepers at say 4.2

My $.02...for the price of a Twist you cant go wrong to check it out! VV is a total game changer for many...

also, PGA is illegal to your north in NY too but it IS legal in VT if you have somebody coming/going through

I've never tried a Kgo, but I have an eGo C 1000 mah and I bought an eGo twist and I really notice a big difference. I use the dial a lot and the vapor is richer, warmer, thicker, and I get more throat hit. I love it so much I ordered backups.
