I have had the Magma for a few weeks now. Love the ease of building coils, LOVE the flavor produced, AND the deep wells.. But...

It leaks like CRAZY. No matter what I try, I get leaking from the airholes. Not sure if others have had the same issue. Changing the airflow is also a pain as I have to unscrew the top cap to adjust. So,

Can you fellow vapers recommend other RDAs that have the deep wells, can match the flavor of the Magma, and has adjustable airflow? And that DOESNT LEAK as much?

I have heard some positive things about the Holmes, but welcome other suggestions for a "Magma 2.0" alternative.

Have you seen this? http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ms/594806-magma-rda-lifting-air-channels.html

Looks easy enough to do.

I have the 1:1 Veritas from FT and really like it so naturally I suggest it as something to look into. No leaks at all so far but I'm retired and mostly at home, so it hasn't been given any hard tests yet.

Machining on mine is very good, but the o-rings are a little thin and one broke already. I'm getting a replacement from FT, but it's ok with one o-ring for now.

It's not about overfilling, although I'm sure that could be the problem for some people. The problem is that you get condensation and when that has built up it will run down the cap, and without o-rings, it will leak through the air ring, and some will leak through the airhole.

One way to minimize this is to lift the airhole, like mentioned above, and wipe off the inside of the cap once in a while.

The veritas could be a good alternative, but to be honnest I have a Veritas and a Magma, and the Magma IMO delivers better flavor, is easier to build and even more important is much more forgiving, you don't even have to try to make the magma performs, while i'm still trying to find the right build for the veritas, i can throw any build in the magma and it stays consistently awesome, right now i have a 26ga single coil at 1.0, on a regulated device at 22 watts it's just perfect.
I also don't experience much leaking at all
