And if your concerned with flavor, the two things are chamber volume and chamber volume.

I would have agreed with this until I got my Magma. My on the go PV is a Reo Grand with bottom fed atty's. The rm2 atty is a tiny little thing that has great flavor but the Magma is so good I have a modded bottom fed Magma on the way.

My Magma leaks only if I fill it beyond half way. My leakiest dripper is the Atomic; way more than the Magma. Single coil for me right around 1.2 ohm and 15W with most of my juices. The smallest air hole compares to a kayfun Light Plus for a super MTL. The 2mm hole is my choice for a lung hit.

2 Things work:

1) Purchasing the correct topper for your building skills/styles.

2) Adapting your building styles to the toppers you purchase.

Ain't that the truth. I found that out the hard way. I cursed the Veritas left and right... blaming it the whole time. Hyped up piece of crap, but soon found it was me. It's an awesome dripper with the right build, which I know how to do now. I have the Magma as well and it's top notch in my opinion.

I think the airflow problem is that most of the people who complain about the magma are lung hitters with different expectations. The largest air setting on the Magma is borderline too small for this and so it doesn't really produce the same kind of vapor that most of the other popular cloud-chasing RDAs are producing these days.

Very true. I started out vaping chasing clouds and when I first tried the Magma I was a bit disappointed. But after a few months I've found I can still get the restrictive lung hit I like even with the 1mm air holes. My build right now is 25g Kanthal Dual Coil @ 0.5 ohms on an IPV2s 7watts with the 1mm holes. Hits better than a kayfun imo, nice warm vape. And the awesome part about it is I can increase the wattage and airflow if i ever need that huge lung hit.

I love my Magma, and find it works best for me at a 1.2 ohm build single coil. I vape mainly NET's in it so sub ohm is not needed. When it came to the Veritas, I felt the same way you do about the Magma, but that was before I finally found the perfect build for it. With that I use a .90 ohm build, single horizontal coil... flavor and vapor is perfect! Don't give up on the Magma, it could be your build.

rocking my veritas with a .9 ohm single horizontal coil right now, love it. Best rda I've tried thus far and I've never had a single drop of juice leak. Love my veritas.
