I have one 650 manual X2, two 900 autos and just ordered a red 1300 auto today. What is all the hype with the manual batteries? Maybe it's just me being a newbie and I'm not coordinated enough, but the manual seems to be a pain to me. Push the button... inhale... release the button... exhale... Thank God it's the shortest X2 that I have. I'm mainly using it for dryburning and as a backup.

To me, having more control is putting it to my lips and drawing in when I'm ready. Oh, did I say that I absolutely love the X2s (except the manual)!! I have matching cones with all of them but don't use them because they seem to restrict airflow. Hopefully the shorter cones will have better air circulation. Also, chrome will go with all of the battery colors. That picture looks really good!

I've given my 65 & 78mm batteries to my daughter to try out in the hope that she will give up cigarettes. So they have not been retired to the drawer just yet.

i felt the same way about auto's and manual's,i just have one 650 manual and 4 auto's.

i find that i am using my manual more and more,,in fact i am planing to buy 3 more 650 manual's.

i have found that if you are having wicking problems from heavy vg i can draw on the manual with out firing it so i can draw the juice in to the coil, then fire it and get a better tasting vape.

I got my first (and so far only) X2 900 back when the X2s first became available. It is white, and I love it. :)

Alas, that initial shipment of X2s came without cones, and I have never bothered to buy a white cone for it. I see that the cones are available for sale in all of the colors now; does that mean that the X2s are now all shipping without a cone?

I plan on buying ONE X2-T3 when they arrive, along with another box of regular blank cartos (yes, I'm old-fashioned that way: I love SI's plain old cartos! :D). If I fall in love with the X2-T3, I'll scoop up a bunch of those AND buy 2-3 more 900mah X2s.:)

If I had used my spendthrifty head first, I would have purchased only one chrome cone for my X2s instead of thinking I needed to get the matching color cones. Now they mostly sit unused because of restricted airflow. BUT I will have to get one of the short cones (chrome) when they come out because..... I got to try it!! Then maybe I will get some of the chrome colored blank cartos because..... that combo in the picture above REALLY looks good! :2cool:

You can drill a small hole toward the bottom of those colored cones to allow more air flow. Works great! :)

I'll try that with the cone that goes with my manual X2 battery since it's my least favorite.. that I only use for dryburning and as a backup. Hopefully I won't ruin the cone even if it only sits in the drawer. I love all my shiny new toys!!

I recently got a short chrome cone to put on the x2 when I use a carto. The full cones are great and I use them too, but this is a nice option. It covers the threads but you can still see the label on the carto.

I don't see what all the fascination is with a manual. Yeah I have heard the pros.

I still don't see it.

One reason I don't leave SI. No one else has big bat autos.

I guess I should add unless you are one of those people that need everything... :)

i think i need every thing,,,,,at least some 510 threading egos for my 510 threaded T-3's i am going to order in November.

I feel you Bluecat and totally agree about the manual X2s, but I'm one of THOSE people who have to have everything... but ONLY from Smokeless Image!
