First, I want to give a shoutout to Drew and Nhaler - I placed my order late on Thursday (actually early Friday morning, because it was after midnight), and my package arrived in my mailbox this afternoon (Monday). Awesome!

Some background: I've been vaping since January (haven't had an analog since Dec 30th!), and started with XL KR808 batteries and KR808 cartomizers. I then added a 6v mod to my collection, and also used KR808 cartomizers with that as well. All good. Then very recently I decided that I wanted something new (you all know how that is...heh), and preferably a 3.7v model - because as much as I like 6v vaping, I was going thru juice and cartomizers like craaaazy. I wanted something that looked sleek and elegant, was compact, yet had good battery life... oh, and reasonably priced, too! The search was on...

After spending a few hours on the computer, I decided upon the Riva because it seemed to fit my criteria, so I placed an order with Nhaler for the Riva kit. I also ordered an adapter so I could still use KR808 cartomizers, along with a gold anodized aluminum drip tip. I opened my package with anticipation... charged the batteries (which didn't take long at all, maybe a couple hours max) put the Riva together and attached the adapter... only to find that my KR808 cartomizer didn't fit the adapter. Bummer! My fault completely, though - I think that I ordered the wrong adapter - I ordered the "501-cartomizer" adapter, and maybe I should have ordered the "501-901" adapter? I don't know...

Anyway... I really wanted to try out my new toy, so I popped on one of the 510 attys (I have zero experience with 510 attys, being a cartomizer gal) along with a filled cartridge... and... wow! NICE!!! Smooth draw, nice flavor, tons of vapor... I then decided to be brave and take the cartridge off and put the drip-tip on and try my hand at dripping. LOVE it!!! I never realized how vaping from a KR808 carto was so much like sucking thru a clogged straw, until today... and I am now happily dripping and vaping on this awesome little PV!

It's small, but solid... love the blue LED button which is soft, and easily - but not too easily - depressed. The Riva feels nice in my hand, and I don't think that I will worry about it firing in my pocket (of course, one still has to be careful). I absolutely love it, it's perfect! And of course, I have photos to go along with the story...

I must say that I really like the way that the gold drip-tip matches the gold trim on the Riva - very stylish!

The kit also came with a free LR 306 Atomizer and Drip Tip - which I will try out later for sure.

I can't speak about battery life yet, obviously, but will update that info as experience allows.

All in all, thus far, I am VERY pleased with the Riva - and Nhaler!

:D
