Hi everyone,

Just dropping in to say hi (brand new so I guess I need 5 posts before I can uste the "Faces of Volt" special since it is in a sub-forum). I just started with ecigs. I have a long way to go (used to 1 pack of Marlboro reds per day or more) but am thrilled to actually try to switch. After much research I decided to go for the Volt... I do love this forum! Before this forum I had no idea there are so many choices out there (I had only heard of Blu and such). I might try more stuff later, but right now I am happy with my Volt!

I got a starter kit, a sampler and a Cowbow/Country pack of cartridges (after reading someone posted it was relatively similar to marlboro), and I am quite happy! I like the taste, and I have not yet felt cravings! I do wonder how long each cartridge will last....

I read somewhere that each cartridge should roughly give the same number of puffs of about 6-10 cigarretes... that does make me wonder, since (say it were 6 cigarretes) that would mean each 5 pack of cartridges equals pack and a half of analogues and it would make it the same price as analogues...

In any case, I'm quite happy and I am determined to make the full switch!

Hi there and welcome to the forum. Glad you have something that is working.

If you plan to become a long term vaper what you will need to do is learn how to refill your own cartomizers. This is quite easy and there are many informative videos on you tube on how to do it.

So you've bought 5 Cowboy Country flavored pre-flled cartos right? Here is what you should be doing. Go back to the SI website and order yourself a bottle of this juice. They probably have it.

Now when you get it, you can easily remove the little rubber cap there and simply drip some out of the dropper bottle onto the filler material there until it becomes slightly slushy. You can keep filling these until the taste becomes bad. I've gotten a full month out of a 5 pack using this method. i've quit using those though and moved on to wicking tanks and cartomizers. These are almost as economical because you can clean them pretty effectively in a short amount of time.

Good luck and don't hesitate to ask questions.

I started with a Volt as well, congratulations on making the switch! Everyone's vaping journey is different, but if you find yourself happy with the Volts, which many do, I would recommend buying blank cartomizers from SI. There are a boatload of amazing flavors out there, and you'll probably want to mix it up a bit. I rolled through the pre-filled cartomizers in a hurry though, so you'll more than likely want some more juice to at least refill them yourself. Good luck with vaping!
