Low Budget Shinyitis

I got the Asmodus Rose Finch today. Wow, that doubles as a weapon, it is heavy but beautiful and super cheap right now.
That sure is a great idea! These days I use wood or plastic boxes, not too big, so I can put my mods and be standing up without much fuss or danger of falling. Great idea!Can well remember way back in the tube mod days years ago when folks were complaining about the cost of commercial and custom plastic, wood, Corian, etc mod stands. Some of the fancier ones were even up to hundreds of dollars. They came down to ego or pride of ownership I guess, but they all did basically the same thing... held the mods up vertically so they wouldn't fall over. So I posted this picture for the whiners, a do it yourself cheaper than dirt mod stand that everyone one already has around the house and that anyone can afford.

The Augvape VX200 is on the edge of the budget shiny, but I can get one here. Any comments? looks quite compact and light! And center connection!
I've been reading... And liking, but I have to say there are times this thread makes me feel guilty and ashamed. LOL.

It's plastic construction, although somebody said the cage looks aluminum. I've had several eleaf aluminum mods and hold up very well. For around 50 bucks (argie exchange) it's not bad.
From the start I bought into a truckload of gear stands because staying organized reduces clutter and helps protect pristine finishes. Those bundled cardboard tubes will get the job done for the budget minded though.
I have a bunch of these wood stands that I used way back in the tube mod days.
Ever since I switched to 'box' mods (mid 2014) I have used these wooden stands for them. They are the ticket as I usually vape 4-6 mods at a time. They can hold extra batts/liquid if less than 6 mods are used in a rotation. And rotating mods/liquids is a simple matter of just switching which already set up wood stand I choose.
I also have a bunch of simple wood and Plexiglas ones for the dozens of batts, endless atty's, and endless DIY supplies I have as well.
I like eleaf's cheap stuff. I have an invoke that I won that I've had in continuous rotation since I won it at least 2 years ago. It's lighter and smaller than some of my single battery mods, it takes a beating and keeps going, I've dropped it infinity times.
I bought 8 of them for the Vacopalypse closet because I know I will enjoy them and they will LAST.
Speaking of budget shinyitis (@JCinFLA should hang out here, REALLY) I got them for like 25 bucks and free shipping.

Anna, I do pop in here every now and then and also on the Shinyitis monster thread sometimes. But, I already have way more mods, full kits, tanks, and RBA than any 1 person probably should have in their stash...for myself, friends, and newbies I help to get started with vaping. Yet I just added another 3 Aegis Mini and 4 more Aegis Solo to the stash in the last 3 weeks. As of this morning, 4 more Zenith D22 tanks will be shipping tomorrow. Hard to pass up some really great deals even now.
OH! Unless you meant I should hang out in here to find deals for other people...like your Eleaf mods you mentioned.

The best deal on the regular full-size Zenith is still at MFS, last I looked. It's the version that comes with the 0.8ohm and 1.6ohm regular coils. It's $16.95 before any coupon code you may find or points you might cash in on the purchase.

Several places in the US still have the D22 version, but their prices are higher than I wanted to pay for more. So, I checked Sourcemore and found them in Black and in SS for $19.10, before any coupon code discount or points you might cash in. I set up an account, so they sent me an 8% off coupon code. That dropped the price to $17.57 each. I was OK with that, because it's still at least $5-$15 less than the US vendors who still had any.
Had 22 additional things in my Cart, (all $.08-$1.64 from their Clearance section), and they were lightweight, too. So the total S/H cost spread out among all 26 items I ordered...made it $.44/item. So, each tank cost me $18.01 to my door.
After I ordered, they had only (1) SS still in stock at their SHZ Warehouse, but quite a few at their HK Warehouse. Just checked now though...and there's (1) at SHZ Warehouse and only (2) at the HK Warehouse. They only have (2) Black ones at their HK Warehouse now. There are none at SHZ Warehouse.

Oh, I agree! You sure can't beat the price, at just $9.29 and still available in Black or White. Even the KBox 40W isn't bad as an emergency backup or a regular user for someone...at a puny $6.28.
Absolutely phenomenal quality klone (if that's allowed here), and very much on par with the authi (I have both). There are cheaper ones, which are still good (got both), but this one is tough to tell from authentic. I wish I'd found this one first.
