I usually use the Protank 2 tank but a friend of mine talked me into getting a cartomizer tank set up and I really like it but it keeps making my ZMAX Mini not fire and 'Low Load' shows up on the screen. Im pretty new to using Mods and very new to using cartos. Can anyone help me? Is there a setting I can go to to make this stop? The only thing I have found that makes it work is to unscrew the tank and hit the fire button while screwing it back on and it will work for a few hits then low load shows up again. I even tried some of my other tanks to see if it was the actual Mod messing up but they all worked fine. Help please!!

Sounds like the ohm of the tank is too low to work on your device. Because of this the max is powering itself off so the battery won't blow up in your face. Not familiar with z max so just speculation. Stop using that tank till you know the ohms of it.

just a heads up, if you have to trick your ecig into working, stop. Figure out the problem. Do you have anyway to check the resistance (ohms) of the carto?

If it is a Sigelei Mini it has the same chip as the V3 and V2, it does sound like it doesn't like the resistance of that carto. It sounds odd, but the resistance of a coil can change from cold to warm. You could try the tank on another device if you have one, I thinking the Zmax just doesn't like that carto.

Make sure your 510 connector is clean and clean up any liquid that may have leaked onto it. These liquids are non conductive and can impede electrical contact.

Cartos are disposable items and the quality control isn't exacting - to put it mildly. You could just have a wonky carto that's dropping resistance - some times a lot - once voltage is applied. Do you know what resistance it is supposed to be?

Nope. I just went to my local ecig shop and they set it up for me. I should have done some more research before I got it.
