Just got a new batch of wick n wire. 25' of wick and 75' of wire (all for $16.55 shipped). Have 28 to 36 awg and 1 to 2.5mm wick (lots of variety).
The first thing I did is wrap about 9-11(bottom/top) of 28gauge around a nail about 1.3 to 1.5mm (my eyes! My eyes...!) and force 2 mm wick through it. In a rush I stuck it on my MVP and it showed .9 yet fired. I will use my tester in a while (an amprobe the old yellow style from my job, overkill, I know, but it's here I just don't feel like going out to my truck right now its rainy and °38f)
I am vaping at 3.3v and its sizzling like whoah! Wish I could share a video showing the clouds this baby puts out. As I said, I will test further with my tools but I had to ask all the pros if this very low ohm coil will eat my 2600 mah at the rate I believe 9.9watts or more possibly as much as 25!
Has anyone done this? Am I gonna kill my MVP(2)?
Can't wait to get a mechanical or two! batteries and drippers, all sizes and... and a tank... or two...gonna need mesh both 4 & 5 hundred and a simpler tester with threads...better tweezers....oh nooooo...
