I just recieved my new DSE 905 V4 yesterday along with some LR 510 attys. This combo works great for a while but seems to drain the batts quicker than they should. After an hour or so of normal use the auto cut off will kick in after only a couple of secs of inhaling. If i switch back to a 901 atty my PV works normal again for quite some time. Just wondering if anyone else has tried this combo and what your results were. Thanks for the help.

How about a little math ?
a LR atty say 1.5 ohms Vs a regular atty say 3.0 ohms , the LR will drain the battery 2x as fast
Ohms law ( YES it is a LAW ! )
1.5 ohms @ 3.7 volts = 2.46 amps of current draw and 9.1 watts of power ( power is the current x the voltage )

for a 3 ohm atty it is 1.23 A @ 4.56 watts

so half power half current etc.

Hope this helps ?
