I just recieved my new DSE 905 v4 yesterday and the thing works great so far except when using a 510 adapter with a LR atty, This worked fine at first but after an hour or so the LEDs would start flashing after only 1 or 2 secs of inhaling like the batt is dead. I then switched back to a 901 atty and the thing works fine. Just curious if anyone else has any experience with a similar setup. I dont have any normal 510 attys to try yet. I should be getting a couple in the next day or so and i will try those. I hope this thing can handle the LR attys as I have 5 brand new ones. Any help would be great thanks

I do not have an "expert" (and certainly not a technical) answer to this. Just a fellow user, anecdotal observation. My 901 attys work like a charm on the DSE905 V3 (for which it was designed). My 510 and penstyle attys work inconsistently, depending (partially) on the type of adapter I'm using.

My new LR 801 atomizer from NHaler doesn't work at all with one of my 901-801 adapters, but works very nicely with another (shorter) one. With that, it is a very enjoyable experience.

My tentative conclusion: It's not the LR atomizers (in my case 801, in your case 510) that's the issue, but the adapter.

You might want to try another type of 901 to 510 adapter (e.g., from a different supplier).

BTW, I'm not sure what my highly respected fellow expert means by "Tornados...have batts with more capacity than the 14500." The eGO/Tornado is a 650 mAh battery; the 14500 battery (used in the DSE905) is 900 mAh. Both are "3.7V" but (I believe) the 14500 is in fact a somewhat higher voltage than the eGO/Tornado.
