I've been vaping for a while and always use the regular cartos on my ecig batteries. I see everyone talking about the low resistance cartos and it seems that they are more desireable. I've tried searching to find out what the difference is, but I get so many hits that I can't nail down the answer.

Is there a benefit to using LR cartos?

I don't have any mods. I have a KR808, a 510 and an ego tank. Would it be better for me to switch to LR cartos for my ecigs?

Thanks so much!

LR cartos gives warmer vapor, and more of it. LR simply means more power is allowed to heat the element, therfore gets much hotter, much faster= more vapor in same amount of time. LR has more kick to it, drains your battery twice as fast, and uses twice the liquid because of it...ish. But, for those that want a lil more kick..LR will get ya taken care of. BUT, some flavors work better on standard cartos than LR..not much, but some. Hope that answers your question. :)

Thanks, Big Chief! I think I'll just stick to the regular cartos. I get enough vapor now and throat kick really isn't that important to me. I thought I may be missing out on a big treat or something after reading some of the other threads. :) I guess if it's not broken, I shouldn't try to fix it. Or at least that's what my Grandfather used to say.

I have both 808 Catromizers and 510LR Cartomizers. I find that it is very true for me. Ms. T's french toast taste burnt in a 510LR but is most delicious in an 808. On the other hand, her Buttered Popcorn is the best in the 510LR.
