I've kind of at the point that I don't feel like dropping my nicotine strength. 12mg.
I enjoy the effect of nicotine.
Are any others not desiring to change likewise?
Is there any benefit in lowering the mg., besides cost (minimal) or being able to quit completely?
I stayed at 10mg, the highest level I've used, for almost a year, with zero desire to go any lower. Then I got an Achilles, and the TH is so intense, I dropped to 9mg just so I could hit it without coughing.
Currently, I'm undertaking a reduction to get down to no more than 5mg for the cold months; I suffer from painfully cold hands and feet in the winter, and last winter, vaping 10mg, was just as bad as all the winters I was a smoker, so it wasn't the carbon monoxide causing it, and I've dropped 80% of my caffeine intake, so it's not that either. I figured I'd try lowering the nicotine fairly drastically and see if that helps. I'm at 7mg right now so that's moving along on schedule, since it won't really be cold here till probably sometime after Thanksgiving or even xmas.
Otherwise, I'm sure I'd still be at the 9mg I went to when I got my Achilles RDAs. Even if I do get to 5mg, and stay there, I daresay I may not go any lower, for the cognitive improvements of nicotine -- I'm 54, and both my grandmothers died in some form of dementia, and I'd really rather keep my marbles where they belong -- what's the point of living longer if you don't know who you are?!
