LP Grand Decision

I will be getting a new Grand and RM2 when the contact upgrades are released.
I already have a really beat up Grand and Era.
I do understand the difference between the LP and the standard Grand but I was wondering from people with hands on experience, is it worth getting the LP Grand and LP RM2 or just stick to the regular Grand and RM2. (The difference in money isn't that big of a problem )

I only have regular grands. If I were ordering today, I would get LP and an unmilled RM2 just for something different.

If all your ever going to run is RM2 or other small RBAs there is no difference other than looks, If you want to run bigger RBAs like Patriots, Numbus, Cyclone with AFC and never plan to run regular cartos or attys then you need the LP. I switched to all LP Reo and I'm very happy with my choice.

Both are LP Grands one with an LP RM2 the other with Cyclone + AFC.

It really depends if you want to try different atties on it. Some people prefer SS atties and the air flow control of a cyclone and that will not fit with the air flow control cap on a regular Grand.

If you are happy with RM2's then there is no need to get an LP Grand, but for $20, it does allow you more options.

I think I'll be going with the LP combination and maybe I'll end up buying myself a cyclone and AFC in the future

Sorry to bother you again Filthy-Beast but can I just ask where you got those stainless button covers from???

I got them from DarkZero, he did me a favor and made them for me out of titanium when I ordered a Jig. He recently posted that he was not going to make anymore jigs so he might not be making any more Button tops either.

That's disappointing, those would have made my choice on stainless vs. brass RM2 really easy :/
