LP Grand won't fire

So I was happily vaping along and my Reo just stopped. I went ahead and changed the battery even though the one I had in it was pretty fresh and nada. I don't have any nolax so if I file the pin can I use something else? Any suggestions? Thank you all!!

What atomizer are you using? Sounds like a connection problem. If it were due to dirty contacts you would get diminishing vapor but not sudden stoppage.

On RDAs, I've popped a coil that even under close inspection looked fine until I went to take it off and it fell into 2 pieces. It could also be the 510 pin not making good contact.

If it's a carto, try pulling the pin.

Verify that the firing pin is touching the positive connection of your battery first. After that, we need to know what atomizer you're using.

The only way to get no response is a broken connection somewhere along the way. So...

Multimeter: Test the ohms on your atty, and make sure that's still good. Then test the ohms from the firing pin to the center pin on the 510 connection of your grand. The new contacts in a grand test at .32 ohms, probably around .4 for the old contacts (unsure since I don't have the old contacts)... If those two test out fine, then it's a problem with the connection between you atty and the 510 on your grand...

Only other possibility would be the firing pin not touching the battery, which could be a few small things... But first that comes to mind might be a collapsed spring.

Ah ha! The firing pin wasn't making a good connection, now it is. I have a RM2 0.9 ohm on it. I thought that could be the problem but checked the firing pin first and viola, puffin right along now. Thanks guys!!

The exact same thing happened to me today. lol After thinking of absolutely everything else I finally tested my coil. It had straight-lined. Broken wire. Did emergency surgery (coil transplant). Joyful outcome.

We also see people get caught by the fire button slipping to the lock positions and they don't notice or a button cover slips lower and keeps the button from depressing all the way.
