LR Dual Coil Cartomizer on a VMAX question.

Okay guys, I need some help. I have a Vmax and Im about to get some juices in the mail today (HOORAY) and I wanna try some of them in my DCT tank with my LR dual coil cartomizer. They are 1.5 Ohms and Im just wondering would that work without burning the cartomizer So I decided to ask the experts! Guys help me out here with your expertise!

Most LR dual coils are not recommended for VV use unless in a tank. I'm using a 1.5ohm DC in a tank up to 4.5v, but again, that is in a tank.
