Hey guys I got a Vmax also I have a DCT tank with some DCT cartomizer and have a Vmax. Is a 1.5 ohms cartomizer but I want to make sure putting that on vmax I know it works, but wont it burn the cartomizer, I don't really want to burn one without knowing also I waste juice doing so and everything. So what are you guys opinions and expiriences out there? Does it work properly. By the way is a Vmax V1 Im trying it out from a friend and thinking about buying V2 so far this thing is amazing.

Just lower you voltage below 4 volts or the wattage below 8 watts if you want to test the atty. Then go to the Ohms feature on the Zmax and see if it shows an ohms reading in line with the rating of the tank or if is shows open to see if its connecting or not.

Unless your using real expensive juice it won't waist much. Maybe a drop or two. If your going to test ohms etc it will have to fire up the coiil in the atty.

Agreed. With any device and new type of atomizer it's always a good idea to start low and work your way up to find the best voltage for you. When using your dual coil cartomizer you must remember there are actually two coils in there, each of 3ohm resistance. It's going to take some serious power to do any damage to such a setup.
