So I have been looking around trying to figure out the whole ohms difference for my next purchase but so far all I have read is that the lower the ohm the hotter the vape. This is all based on personal preference. I have a volcano inferno so I can go LR if I want to but I'm wondering why I would want a warmer vape? Either I am missing a piece of the puzzle about the difference in ohms or this has to do with flavor differences. In my mind, I am thinking I would want a higher ohm for a cooler vape since I primarily vape fruit flavors that I would think wouldn't be as crisp with a hotter vape. I could seriously be overthinking this or my minds way off track so I am hoping someone can help? Thanks guys!

It's hard to explain until you try it. Another way is to up the voltage. Either gives you more watts (said without getting into the math part).
So, ... um... example: My 5 volt box mod/APV hits like a cig. Short draw, warmer vapor, MORE vapor. LRs do that too. They dump more heat (watts) into the process, vaporizing the juice faster. No long-slow draw type of thing. So warmer. Also more "oomph".
It can reduce flavor. It does seem to increase nic absorption (smaller/more droplets?)
All that said, the fruit flavors "burn" easier IMO and need more gentle care. So you don't want to over heat them. Really have to keep the atty/carto wet (shows up a lot when dripping using fruit flavors).

It's not just about warmer / cooler vape. It's more about finding the "sweet spot".
One of the reasons I like VV is that regardles of the ohms I can tweak the voltage / current to just the exact point where I can get the absolute best flavor from my juices. This varies from juice to juice and also depends upon the juice delivery system (carto, drip, clearo, etc.).
One of the benefits behind the different resistances is to give people without VV more options.
Oh and, at least for me, the best flavor settings usually seem to also coincide with the best vape. Huge plumes, nice TH, etc.
